I don’t see the horrible carbon pollution driven storm clouds, but all of that countryside green, in the fields and in the trees, of plants which will absorb all of that carbon dioxide!
My challenge to Hairy and Mr Dowd: plant a tree or three on your property, more if you have the room. It’s not difficult, and not expensive. It’s just a little thing, but it’s something they can do.
Actually, it’s a challenge to everybody who frequents The Pirate’s Cove. I know that our esteemed host, living in a condo as he does, probably can’t plant anything, but if someone can’t plant on his property, most city parks departments would be happy for a donation of a tree to plant.
One of my sisters gave us a small stone pine tree for Christmas, which we’ll be planting outside once spring gets closer. My wife likes Eastern redbuds, so we’ll get a couple of those in the spring, and probably other trees as well.
She looks happy, but she’s going to get ticks. That’s how you get ticks
