LOL. The naive founding fathers never imagined that a President would use commutations/pardons to cover up Presidential crimes. They were relying on a Congress that would not tolerate such corruption. Little did they imagine the criminal organization known as the GOP.

tRump encouraged Stone NOT to cooperate with Mr. Mueller, dangling clemency as an inducement. Stone lied to investigators to protect tRump, was convicted and then had his sentence commuted by The Don. Simple obstruction of justice by The Don, once again.

  2. Kye says:

So mister empathy, love, forgiveness, care, wants the old man Roger Stone sentenced to life for lying to investigators during the Russia Hoax (who were lying to him) strictly because he worked for and supported Trump. The hate runs deep in Elwood. They never want justice, fairness or equality all they want is retribution, reparations and revenge. All leftists are hateful animals so just wait and see what Elwood has in store for us if they win.

Trump 2020 Or Elwood will have us all in prison….or shot. That’s how commies work.

A really good read. Tell me this isn’t America today!

Stone was convicted of 7 felonies. Even Bill Barr said the sentence was fair.

He lied to authorities, obstructed and tampered with witnesses BECAUSE he worked for tRump.

Should all people over 65 have their sentences commuted? If not, why not?

Bill Cosby is 82 and still in prison. Should he be released?

Kye typed: Elwood will have us all in prison….or shot. That’s how commies work.

More inflammatory projection. Never forget; with connies it’s always projection. They tell you exactly what they have in mind. Given the opportunity Kye would have us all in prison…. or shot. That’s how fascists work.

Tony Podesta was given immunity to testify against Stone for doing the same things and walked.
The prosecution of Stone was as political as it gets.

Elwood knows that Liljeff, it’s his nature to want to put an old man in prison for political crimes. That’s what commies do so he’s right in there with the best of them.

Nice try except I’m not a fascist, I’m a Republican. I believe in the Republic therefore not shooting people or throwing them in prison because of fake crimes. Also as a Republican I’m against racism, ALL RACISM. After all it was MY ANCESTORS who fought your ancestors, the Democrats to force them to free the slaves. You do realize there is over 100 years and 100 million dead bodies to prove you leftists are genocidists. If you could you’d murder us right now. You’re like the proverbial scorpion, it’s your nature as a leftist to lie and murder people you don’t agree with.

          You people sicken me.

Trump 2020 Keep the filthy leftists at bay or they will murder us.

Just like this racist, lying piece of shit.

Stone was also railroaded. The reason Trump gave him clemency is so he can go back into court and clear his name.

He lied to authorities, obstructed and tampered with witnesses BECAUSE he worked for tRump.

He did? on whose word? Berman? A crooked Zippy appointee?

Should all people over 65 have their sentences commuted? If not, why not?

Don’t make any statements you can’t live with.

Bill Cosby is 82 and still in prison. Should he be released?

Of course. He was railroaded. He actually went around the country telling black people they had to start taking responsibility for their actions. Lefties can’t allow that to happen.

The Germans are still going after surviving SS members and concentration camp guards, even though any still alive today are in their mid-nineties or older. If you were 20 years old at the end of World War II, you are 95 today.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

President Obama never granted clemency to a convicted felon who lied to protect him.

Roger Stone still knows where the bodies are buried, and now has even more leverage over tRump.

      • Kye says:

“President Obama never granted clemency to a convicted felon who lied to protect him.”

You’re right, he didn’t. He gave pardons and clemency tp murders, traitors, spys and communist operatives. Giving clemency to a 70 year old guy who lied to the FBI is so much worse!

And how would you know what Roger Stone knows? Does everything you say have to be a lie or is just coincidence?

        Man, you’re an idiot.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Stone was the conduit between Wikileaks/Russia and Trump/Campaign. He lied about it to the feds to cover up for Trump.

Trump was receiving information about Wikileaks directly from Stone.

A jury of Stone’s peers convicted him of 7 felonies. Should lying to the feds, witness tampering and obstruction of justice even be crimes?

Stone knew that Trump would be forced to commute/grant clemency/pardon him since he possessed information dangerous to Trump. The President understands that Stone STILL possesses that incriminating information and that publicity hound Stone is still a threat to Trump, as was his pedophile buddy, Epstein.

They’re mobsters. This was fixed from the beginning.

There are some 78,000 non-violent drug offenders in US jails/prisons. Should they all be granted clemency?

          • formwiz says:

Well, since it all turned out to be one big nothingburger, it was all for naught, anyway.

Trump was receiving information about Wikileaks directly from Stone.

Or he could have gone up on the Net and gotten it firsthand.

A jury of Stone’s peers convicted him of 7 felonies. Should lying to the feds, witness tampering and obstruction of justice even be crimes?

            Right.

Considering Mule Ears’ investigation was a witch hunt and Stone refused to roll over on Trump, who had done nothing wrong, Mule Ears talked a few feather heads into convicting him for it.

Stone knew that Trump would be forced to commute/grant clemency/pardon him since he possessed information dangerous to Trump. The President understands that Stone STILL possesses that incriminating information and that publicity hound Stone is still a threat to Trump, as was his pedophile buddy, Epstein.

            Right.

I don’t see anybody looking at Trump in the Epstein matter. I do see a lot of people looking at Willie, Menendez, and a lot of other Demos.

They’re mobsters. This was fixed from the beginning.

You mean like the coup Dr Evil organized against Trump?

There are some 78,000 non-violent drug offenders in US jails/prisons. Should they all be granted clemency?

Jeffery’s virtue signaling is in full feather today.

Too bad all his pseudopsych jargon doesn’t overrule the fact narcissists, psychopaths, and manipulators are more likely to engage in virtue signaling.

I love the high moral tone he tries to affect when he wants to tear down Trump, knowing the Demos are the real villains.

    • Kye says:

“Jeffery’s virtue signaling is in full feather today.”

How can an atheist have virtue? Where does virtue come from, God or Karl Marx? Elwood is the quintessential modern Ugly American. He hates everything about America. In five years here I have never seen him make one single positive comment about America, Christianity, Judaism, any conservative, or in any way voice pride in and love for his country or countrymen. EVAH!!!

One can’t have virtue without honor and one cannot have honor when he supports a party that finances the murder of babies, the taking of private property, the abuse of any person due to race (including whites,Elwood), and one cannot have honor unless he is loyal to his country and his countrymen.

Whatever the issue for the last five years Elwood has been on the wrong side of it. That’s not a coincidence, it’s a moral defect. I’m always amused when he tries to put forth the ridiculous notion that leftists are smarter than conservatives. That they have higher IQ’s. Leftists go to college and spend $50,75, 100 on phony baloney degrees in African Studies just to go work as a barista in a bistro owned by a guy who graduated high school or went a couple years to a community college and owns the place. Who’s the smarter? My vote goes to the owner not the barista. Elwood is of the outdated and proven false idea that a college degree somehow bestows magical intelligence on the previously stoopid. It does not. Especially when they are admitted to the Glorious Halls of Higher Education through racial preferences, set asides and Affirmative Action. It produces hateful, ignorant, foolish children like AOL or Omar with no talent, ability or basic humanity.

When I read Elwood’s comments I can feel the underlying seething hate and it sickens me that a person like him could have a vote in a country this great.

Trump 2020 Or the Hating Elwoods win.

Everything the left tells you is a LIE!!!

We wish there were nice things to say about the nuConnies and their hatreds.

Kye has become progressively more hateful, but projects his hatred on others. Kye seethes with hatred with every typed word.

Trump did not author the nuConnies, but is a symptom. There has always been a strain of right-wing authoritarianism in America, but in the past decade or so it has because the heart and soul of the GOP. Donald J. Trump is running against Black people, LGBGT people, Asian-Americans (including from China), Muslims, brown immigrants, liberals, college grads and urbanites.

How can the nuConnies relentlessly proclaim their love for America yet hate the majority of Americans? Black people, LGBGT people, Asian-Americans (including from China), Muslims, brown immigrants, non-christians, liberals, college grads, urbanites are patriotic Americans.

It’s a common misconception that all virtue derives from christianity, which makes sense if you don’t think about it. Is it virtuous to hate other humans based on the hue of their skin? Can a NuConnie explain why the “virtues” of christianity are evergreen? Adultery used to be wrong. As was consorting with sex workers. As was stealing. Lying used to be wrong. Is it virtuous to terrorize children by condemning them to everlasting fire if they don’t worship the christian god?

Was Jesus quoted correctly? “Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

Or: “But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?”

“Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.”

“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

Attributed to Gandhi: “I like your Christ. Christians are so unlike your Christ.”

Regarding affirmative action, James A. Nolan was the admissions officer at Penn (Wharton) who authorized the transfer of DJT from Fordham to Wharton. Mr. Nolan was a close and longtime personal friend of DJT’s older brother Fred Trump, Jr. and spent much time at the Trump’s residence in Queens. Said Nolan, “In retrospect, I wish I hadn’t done that.” DJT take the place of a more qualified Black applicant? The Trump spawn also attended Penn/Wharton.

If Trump is running against Black people, LGBGT people, Asian-Americans (including from China), Muslims, brown immigrants, liberals, college grads and urbanites, why are they all flocking to him?

And the majority of Americans are white, Christian, heterosexual, Conservative. 62%.

And quoting God when you deny His existence is blasphemy, so you’re a loser in the next world, too.

And quoting some career Lefty doesn’t get you much.

  4. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Edward’s ignorance signaling is in full feather today.

The Reason article discussing the study concluded Psychopathic, manipulative, and narcissistic people are more frequent signalers of “virtuous victimhood.”

Victimhood? Sounds a lot like the psychopathic, manipulative and narcissistic tRump, Stone and most connies, with their incessant whining about media portrayals, criticism of their infatuation with the confederacy, their racism, their hypocrisy, chest beating their patriotism…

Hoist with your own petard much?

  5. formwiz says:

If you’d read the piece, you’d have seen they were talking about Lefties,

You’re the one whining about how terrible Trump is when all he’s done is rescue the country twice from Democrat-induced depressions, build a wall to keep out the illegals (who would doubtless re-infect us with Wu Flu), bring the troops home from Zippy’s endless wars, and generally making Lefties like you show your true nature.

And the expression is Hoist on one’s own petard.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

How did we find the money-quote unless we read the article? Did you read it?

Trump has not rescued America from anything – he’s been pouring fuel on the fire. The Great Recession of 2008 occurred before Obama was President, and we’ve had positive job growth since. Until now. The greatest economy evah quickly became the worst since the 1930s. Fortunately, economic stimulus of trillions of USD has helped. We’re all Keynesians now! Did any conservative think that increasing gov’t spending by trillions was the answer to a good economy? LOL. Hypocrites!

If you think this Trump-inspired recession is over, you’re even dumber than you let on. If you think this Trump Plague Virus pandemic is over, you’re even dumber than that. Double dumb. Mr. Trump is missing in action, more concerned with Black Lives, Roger Stone and immigrants. If we Americans re-elect him we deserve him. It may be time for Trump supporters to re-evaluate their options, as even several presumably safe GOP Senators are vulnerable.

According to Shakespeare’s Hamlet: “For ’tis the sport to have the engineer Hoist with his own petard”, but has been repeated as “with”, “by” and “on”.

The word is “built” not “build”, and he hasn’t “built” one either.

Let’s burn down a few cities, murder and rape a couple people and write “Blue Lives Matter” on the streets!

“Two McAllen police officers were shot and killed Saturday, a visibly distraught Police Chief Victor Rodriguez said. Officers Edelmiro Garza, 45, and Ismael Chavez, 39. were reportedly ambushed, murdered. The suspect is also dead, after committing suicide.

McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez confirmed that the officers died, releasing the message, “We have lost two brave public servants who sought only to keep peace in our City.”

The officers were responding to a disturbance call when the shooting occurred.

When officers tried to enter the home, the alleged shooter, whom police identified as 23-year-old Audon Ignacio Camarillo, opened fire, the Monitor reported.

“They were doing their job,” Rodriguez said. “That is what they were supposed to do. The person was a suspect of the incident, met our officers at the door, and shot at both officers. Both officers suffered fatal wounds, they have both passed away as a result…”

“The officers never had a chance to suspect deadly assault on them, much less death,” the paper quoted the Chief as saying.Audo Camarillo, during his June 10th arrest

    Shortly after, Camarillo killed himself.

According to the Monitor, a man who lives near the area, and who would only identify himself as G. Lopez, said he was working in his yard when he saw the officers arrive around 4 p.m.

Shortly after, Lopez said he heard five to six gunshots.”

  7. Kye says:

So just like you leftists to promote stupid lies. You really think the economy which Trump had chugging along at 4% growth and the lowest unemployment in DECADES went bad because he wanted to hurt his reelection and not because a bunch of communist blue state governors closed down all their businesses and threw good working people out of their jobs? You’re the stupid one but that figures because low IQ leftists live in a dream world.

And you also believe that a virus started in Red China and illegally spread throughout the world by the same killing hundreds of thousands that was originally called the Wuhan Flu because that’s who made it is also Trump’s fault because he gets a kick out of fuking up his reelection chances? You’re worse than stupid, you’re a fukin moron.

What amuses me is everything was pretty good right up until January and we entered election season. Suddenly Democrats are causing flu panics, closing businesses, burning down their cities but it’s all Trump’s fault? Hahahahahahahaha. You need help you brainwashed partisan clown.

Did Trump Pardon a murdering terrorist, or are you claiming Stones “crimes” are more diabolical than Rosenberg’s?

” July 9, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – A convicted terrorist is on the board of the umbrella group that provides tax-exempt financial status to the Black Lives Matter organization, one of the group’s “projects.” Susan Rosenberg had spent 16 years in prison for terrorizing the United States during the presidency of Ronald Reagan.

According to an investigative report by the Capital Research Center, the Black Lives Matter organization, officially known as “BLM Global Network Foundation,” is a fiscally-sponsored project of left-wing organization Thousand Currents. Fiscal sponsorship simply means that a non-profit organization, in this case Thousand Currents, offers its legal and tax-exempt status to one of its “projects,” in this case Black Lives Matter, which engages in activities related to the non-profit organization’s mission.

In other words, thanks to the fiscal sponsorship arrangement between Thousand Currents and Black Lives Matter, donations to the latter group are also tax-exempt.

Rosenberg is one of seven members of the board of directors of Thousand Currents. While the website listing those board members was removed by the organization shortly after the Capital Research Center’s article was published, an archived version is still available online.

Rosenberg openly admitted in her short biography that she had spent “16 years in federal prison,” and was released “in 2001 through executive clemency by then-President Bill Clinton.”

The Democrat Party= over 150 years of black oppression and still going strong!

Kye thinks that Black Americans “being looked at poorly” results from centuries of conservative oppression? Maybe the constancy of white supremacy has a little something to do with it. Modern conserva-pseudo-populism is white supremacy personified – an undisguised appeal to the worst among us.

The GOP became conservative in fits and starts during 20th Century. Progressive Teddy Roosevelt revolted against the conservatism of Taft in 1912. The election of FDR in 1932 with his interventionist progressive policies (New Deal) drew support from workers, the poor and marginalized groups. At that time Southern Democrats were beginning to feel more and more outside the Democratic mainstream. In 1964, conservative Barry Goldwater ran on a platform of fighting communism, smaller government, dismantling New Deal programs and opposing civil rights legislation – a platform that the GOP maintains to this day – even though Goldwater lost in a landslide. Also in 1964 anti-civil rights Senator Strom Thurmond switched from the Democratic to Republican Party. Few Southern Democrats supported the 1964 Civil Rights Act even though the majority Dem House pushed it through with the support of the GOP. There were 9 Yea votes from all of the South.
Similarly, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 passed in the Senate with only two GOP Nay votes, Tower of TX and Thurmond of SC. Every Southern Democrat voted Nay. Today there are only 3 Southern states with Dem Senators, Jones (GA) and 2 from VA.

Anyway, here’s an article discussing how today’s parties evolved, with excellent links to maps detailing the changes.

You racist slave owning Dems are still trying to talk yourself out of being what you are. You continuously rewrite history until it fits your narrative. Except your narrative is constantly changing.

As Zman points out today: “Bertrand Russel said, “The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.” It is a pithy aphorism that has now been amplified by modernity into a description of liberal democracy. In every Western country, the stupid drown out everyone else in the court of public opinion, but do so with a breath-taking degree of self-righteous sanctimony. The hallmark of the modern man is to have an opinion on everything, almost all of them wrong.” Hence Elwood as the quintessential modern man.

“It is not that the stupid have been made supreme, although it certainly seems that way when you [read what drivel Elwood writes] or encounter today’s public opinion. It’s that everything has been politicized to the point where every issue, no matter how small, becomes a moral signifier, the “virtue signal”. Where you stand on the issue says something about you and your position in society. If you don’t have an opinion on an issue, it is assumed you are ignorant or possibly in league with dark forces, those who hold the “horrifically” wrong opinion.

In liberal democracy, this this new system for evolving moral truth is extended by casting the new morality backward in time. It is not just a new moral truth, but a newly discovered universal and timeless moral truth. People are then judged by how far outside of this moral truth they were before it was discovered. It is why anyone associated with racism must be erased from the history books, as it suggests this new moral truth about race was not always a moral truth.”
