Climate Morons Attempting To Win Darwin Awards Attempt To Stop Train In Mass.

Miriam Wasser is an “environmental reporter” for WBUR, an NPR station in Massachussets

It takes a long, long time for a train to stop, especially a loaded freight train. These idiots are also trespassing on train property, and it is a federal offense to trespass on railroad right of way.

The idiots at 350 New Hampshire (who are pimping offshore wind despite being a landlocked state) replied to her tweet with “The train and the dispatchers knew that there were people on the tracks and refused to stop. No one was hurt. #shutdownbow #nocoalnogas #trainbytrain.” It’s not a car. It doesn’t just stop. Do you stop your car if you see a bunch of unhinged lunatics surrounding you? It can take miles for a train to even slow down, much less stop.

And, if they stopped it, then what? There would be a train just sitting on the tracks. Blocking the tracks. And what of the mental state of the engineer and others working the train? What if one of these idiots was hit? Do you know what would happen to them? Destroyed. The engineer is probably a mental wreck after dealing with these lunatics.

If they don’t want to be run over, get off the tracks. Of course, they will keep doing this, like they did a week ago, until someone gets killed. Especially when activist judges dismiss the legitimate charges.

NH has an Atlantic coastline of 18.5 miles and estuarine cost of 200+ Miles
I bet those NH morons know they have a coastline

    • Nighthawk says:

18.5 miles? That should be room for about 5 windmills.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

NH is landlocked except for the Atlantic coastline.

We’re sure TEACH will issue a correction.

        • Kye says:

Teach doesn’t need to “issue a correction” since our resident commies jumped on the opportunity themselves. I imagine catching an actual error by Teach gives them the same euphoric feeling that drugs give an addict.

Now if they would only “issue a correction” about how many genders and races there are perhaps they could join us in reality.

Trump 2020 Because an male becoming a female is a lie. Don’t tell lies!

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Well let’s all agree that New Hampshire has an Atlantic shoreline, OK? It’s not landlocked.

We don’t need any further conservative misinformation.

If we got a “high” from all the misinformation out of TEACH and his minions we’d never be sober.

        • formwiz says:

18.5 miles isn’t much of a coastline. You could walk it in a day.

    • formwiz says:

But most Granite Staters have sense enough not to buy global idiocy.

  2. Dana says:

It will be very wrong of me to laugh when some of these morons get turned into idiotburger when they get run over by a train, but laugh I will.

  3. PapaMAS says:

    *%^&%$$@@$!!!!!

Do they not teach things like physics in New England? What makes these morons think a train can stop on a dime? I remember back in the 80’s, when laying down on railroad tracks was all the rage up there. Sensitive souls were concerned about the US having nuclear weapons, so, of course, the thing to do was to lay down in front of a moving train to make it stop. This had results predictable by anyone with two or more brain cells to rub together.

Seems like leftist nutburgers love to take off their thinking caps and then get upset with everyone else when the real world slaps them hard. “It’s all YOUR fault!”

  4. Nighthawk says:

Maybe next time they should dump a steaming pile of manure on the tracks.

  5. formwiz says:

    Stupid always gets you killed.

    • Dana says:

Alas! far too often it doesn’t get them killed quickly enough. If it did, we’d have no liberal Democrats.

There was actually a time when the liberals were respectable, when their ideas were somewhat different than those of conservatives, but our goals were all the same: a stronger, more prosperous United States.

Those days are gone. Now the left have been thoroughly eaten up with multiculturalism and ‘white guilt’ and whatever other cockamamie ideas are popular.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

But it’s always a trump supporter that says, “Hey someone, hold my beer and watch this”, before shooting a finger off, wrestling a bear or blowing themselves up.

Actually the goals of the liberal Dems are the same, it’s “conservatism” that has changed, or at least come out of the closet.

        • Dana says:

As in, “Hold my beer, I’ll make a prediction! “tRump will not be president at the end of 2019. Believe me. Mark my word. You tRumpitistas are whistling past the graveyard, and we all understand why. Your hero has committed felonies.”

The liberal Dems are the same? ‘Twas just the 1990s in which the liberal Dems were all for protecting normal marriage, and now they can’t even tell the difference between males and females.

          • formwiz says:

Since everybody has been telling them they need an actual crime, their latest scam is Trump committed (are you ready?) bribery and wire fraud by holding up the funds.

            But here’s the best part:

They’re claiming waiting from the courts to resolve subpoena disputes would be both impractical and contrary to the Constitution granting the House “sole power” over impeachment.

I seem to recall something about a Senate trial.

And, of course, sleazoid Andrew Weissmann is on Commie News Net saying how trump could be tried after he finishes his term.

Weissmann may find it harder these days now that the Federal bench is almost half Trump appointees including 25 percent of all federal appeals court judges and 30 Percent of all U.S. Circuit Judges with another 46 currently up for appointment.

Remind me, when was the last time the demos bested Trump at anything? Right now, they’re all saying, “Hold my party…”.

Even Democrats are getting tired of the impeachment rag.

Actually the goals of the liberal Dems are the same, it’s “conservatism” that has changed, or at least come out of the closet.

Actually, it’s the goals of “conservatism” that have remained the same, it’s the liberal Dems that have come out of the closet. Literally.

    Teach read the damn article
The charges were dropped at the request of the prosecuting attorney

    • formwiz says:

Why don’t you read the damned article, smartass?

The judge is the one who get to dismiss the charges.

For somebody who’s been in and out of court as much as you have, you’d think you’d be aware of that.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

A spokeswoman for the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, Meghan Kelly, wrote in an email “the cases were dismissed based on the facts and circumstances.”

      • gitarcarver says:

A judge dismissed charges against ten protesters accused of blocking a freight train delivering coal to a New Hampshire power plant in the early Sunday morning.

A judge’s actual actions vs a spokesperson in an email.

Of course, we all remember the leftists here claiming Exxon had committed a crime after being charged in New York.

Not only were those charges dismissed, the judge’s order is a scathing rebuke of New York prosecutors, no experts backing the state’s case, actual experts saying exactly what Exxon said, a circular argument that the prosecution as fact, etc.

When it comes to legal issues, the leftists here no credibility when it comes to legal issues or understanding what legal terms mean and legal issues in general.

They do understand hate, as hate is all they have.

      • formwiz says:

And who dismissed them? Not the prosecutor.

For somebody who’s been in and out of court as much as you have, you’d think you’d be aware of that.

  7. formwiz says:

You would also need to swim several rather large rivers
A bit chilly if you ask me

Nobody asked and you’re wrong again. You can walk the coast without getting your tootsies wet. The only big river is the Merrimack and that’s inland. Coasts are on the ocean. y’know.

Look at a map once in a while.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

from the article: The Bow plant, owned by investors, only runs the equivalent of a few weeks a year, turning on during high-usage periods in winter when natural gas is diverted to heating and less available for power plants. It stays in business because it receives tens of millions of dollars in payments to guarantee it will be available when needed.

What’s that? Another gov’t subsidy for fossil fuels. Gubmint taking care of rich investors once again!

No, you cannot walk the entire seashore of NH without crossing the Hampton and Piscataqua Rivers

      • formwiz says:

They can’t be very big if they don’t show on the maps.

And I’ll bet there are bridges (you have heard of bridges, haven’t you?) over them.

Gubmint taking care of rich investors once again!

How do you know all of them are rich? Or are all investors rich in Commieland?

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Doesn’t the Merrimack empty into the Atlantic from Massachusetts, not NH?

      • formwiz says:

        Which matters, why?

And the Hampton and Piscataqua Rivers are tidal rivers, so it’s only there certain times of the day, and mirabile dictu both have bridges.

BTW Piscataqua is on the border with Maine, so you wouldn’t have to cross it. Hampton is just a tidal marsh.

OK, you’ve lost once again. Why do you insist on trying to redeem your stupidity?

You know we’re smarter than you.

        • Liljeffyatemypuppy says:

  8. Dana says:

New Hampshire just wishes it was Maine.

  9. Dale the peasant says:

    OK
    A) The Merrimack river empties out in the ocean in Massachussets
    B) The Piscatquog river is the border between NH and Maine
    c) The coal train is usually 150 cars with 8 engines. We’re lucky we can get it to stop in the state
    E) NH is quite happy not to be Maine, what with Maine having a nasty income tax and all
