Chick-fil-A no longer donating to 2 organizations accused of anti-LGBTQ+ views
Chick-fil-A has announced it will focus on donating to initiatives that further its “mission of nourishing the potential in every child†in 2020 — and that it will no longer be giving to two organizations that it had previously received backlash for donating to in previous years: the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and The Salvation Army.
The brand issued a news release on its blog, The Chicken Wire, announcing the current focus for the Chick-fil-A Foundation. In the coming year, the chain’s charitable arm hopes to “deepen its giving to a smaller number of organizations working exclusively in the areas of education, homelessness and hunger.â€
“Through these initiatives, Chick-fil-A Inc. and the Foundation will provide approximately $32 million in total cash gifts in 2020,†the news release read.
And you know what they get for surrendering to the SJWs?
Okay, thats great, whatever, #ChickFilA no longer donating to homophobia and transphobia is fine but if they /really/ about it, they can donate that same money to LGBTQ+ communities and orgs

As Twitchy points out, it’s a small account, but, the tweet got a lot of traction, and, subtweets are showing that the SJWs don’t care, they want to drive Chick-fil-a out of business. There are also plenty of tweets along both lines. You cannot win with SJWs when you capitulate. If you apologize, say you’re sorry, give them what they want, give in, they’ll just come at you harder.
Chick-fil-a may come to regret giving in. Seriously, the Salvation Army? How much great work have they done for so many people?
I’m guessing it was a lot of individual franchises that were getting hurt by the constant guerilla warfare. If they were in a Lefty paradise like Seattle, it would have been this side of impossible to do business.
And, yeah, trying to meet these people halfway, or just make a gesture, never works.
Chick needs to remember that old line from The Magnificent Seven.

This is a huge loss for Chic Fil A. They are crying about their sales now in some areas wait until the Right gets pissed at them for caving in. The Mighty chic-fil-a will crumble because neither right nor left will go to their stores anymore and popeye’s just came out with a blockbuster Chic-fil-a busting Chicken sandwich which is going to eat into their sales as well.
I can’t blame them for caving, but when you cave once, it becomes a tidal wave.

I am with you, can’t understand this positioning. The Salvation Army is one of the best organizations in the charity business. So to deprive them is not a good strategy. Then to do this to pacify a queer group is beyond comprehension.
Even though I don’t like chicken they were on my bucket list, now it isn’t.
