A second source tells Cockburn that this is true and adds a crucial twist to the story. This source claims that Turkish intelligence obtained an intercept of the call between Kushner and MBS. And President Erdogan used it to get Trump to roll over and pull American troops out of northern Syria before the Turks invaded. A White House official has told the Daily Mail that this story is ‘false nonsense’. However, Cockburn hears that investigators for the House Intelligence Committee are looking into it.

Khashoggi was mobbed up with his uncle, the biggest gunrunner in the world. Which is why the Sauds had him hit.
And, for somebody who keeps insisting Pelosi Galore had no authority to tell Kinky Katie to hit the bricks, you assume out of nowhere Jared Kushner has authority over US foreign policy. although somebody who gets their news off MediaIte will buy just about anything, especially if it’s off the gossip blog of the Washington Spectator.
Please show your evidence that Jamal Khashoggi was in business with Uncle Adnan, and that that is the reason Saudi Arabia murdered him. This is just more Trumpiness to demean Khasshoggi so trump can continue his profitable love affair with bin Salman (MBS). But someone who gets their news from the odious Gateway Pudendum is not to be trusted.
Jamal K was a writer and journalist and had repeatedly criticized MBS who had threatened to “take care of Khashoggi with a bullet”.
Saudi Arabia is still holding two of Khasshoggi children, US citizens(!), but trump is neutered by MBS, so he won’t lift a finger. tRump rejected the US intelligence conclusion that MBS was responsible for the murder of a US resident.
Did you know gun-runner Adnan Khashoggi sold his yacht to… wait for it… Donald J. Trump! Adnan also played a role in Reagan’s Iran-Contra scandal.

Actually, Jamal Khashoggi was closely connected to Prince Turki al Faisal. Prince Turki was the head of Saudi intelligence for more than 20 years. Interestingly, he resigned from his post 10 days before 9/11. Probably more interestingly, Turki is the man who allegedly brokered the deal with Bin Laden back in 1998 where, in exchange for money and support, Bin Laden would not attack the Saudi Royal Family. He was also an adherent to the Moslem Brotherhood.
Uncle Adnan was part of the BCCI mess and involved, among other things, Saddam Hussein’s attempt to buy a “supergun” from the Canucks. So Jamal was hooked into intel and very high finance. What better person to broker a lot of deals between Saudi intel and anybody wanting to finance a terrorist group?
