I’d love to have that car! Can you imagine the carbon dioxide that 8 MPG monster would spew into the atmosphere? The esteemed Mr Dowd would be apoplectic!

    • formwiz says:

I always knew there was something off about guys who preferred internal combustion things.

I’ll take the redhead, especially since Hildebrandt has her halfway where I like them.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Your chance to disappoint yet another woman!!

formwiz typed: “…her halfway where I like them.”

What do you prefer, tied up and in the trunk?

        • formwiz says:

          Another of his fantasies revealed.

Clearly, he also can’t understand how a woman with the underwear off is so much more beautiful.

I guess he likes another gender naked.

And that little bit of projection… Is that why you abandoned normal sex?

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

You’re not saying you would have irresponsible sex with a woman you don’t even know, are you?

Is sex with strangers what you consider “normal” sex?

We suspect you talk a better game than you play. But they’re your fantasies old man.

  2. Elwood P. Dowd says:

I’m never apoplectic. If you want a classic car (I happen to admire them myself – I just gifted a classic hot-rod pick-up to a relative), go ahead!, and I have looked into 1950s classics myself.

What’s your point? That driving a gas-guzzler now and then will doom the planet?

A carbon tax that re-apportions the market cost of fossil fuels to capture some of the negative externalities associated with their use will not prevent you from buying a classic car.

But let me ask: Do you think adding CO2 pollution to the atmosphere is a good thing? If so, why? Because it offends the knowledgeable? We see that a lot with Cons – bothering libs seems to be their primary objective.

    • formwiz says:

      Apoplectic, no.

      Berserk, definitely.

      I just gifted a classic hot-rod pick-up to a relative

      And enjoy your fantasies.

    • Dana says:

      The oh-so-knowledgeable Mr Dowd wrote:

It’s true: I do enjoy pulling your chain! ‘Twould be even more fun if it weren’t so darned easy.

Of course, I’m the one who has taken steps to reduce my energy consumption, while you have thus far been unwilling to tell us what you have done.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

        dana,

Thanks for sharing, but my personal life is not much of your business is it?

I can say I’ve been aware of global warming, pollution, the environment for decades… and have lived accordingly. Perfectly? No. But conservatively. Really small house, energy efficient everything (appliances, windows, insulation, cars, passive solar). Most Americans would be pleased to trade their energy bills for mine (although we pay a premium for renewables).

Would we ever meet the demands of a climate change denier? Of course not.

        • formwiz says:

Well, by shooting off your mouth we know your preferences and liljeffy’s filled in a couple of blanks, so we know more than we would otherwise, but I think it’s hilarious you can make accusations about us, but you’re off limits.

Doesn’t work in the post-Zippy world. Open your big mouth and you invite similar scrutiny.

No. But conservatively. Really small house

You do realize all that means is you’re one of Father Karl’s envious proles, hating people who’ve done better than you.

Would we ever meet the demands of a climate change denier? Of course not.

Wasn’t it Uncle Saul who told us, “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules”?

IOW, you talk a good game, but, in the end (whomever’s), you’re just as big a hypocrite as Albert Gore The Living Redwood.

          • Liljeffyatemypuppy says:

Just more virtue signaling from the silly silly little girl. If we would only admit she’s better than us.

            BWAHAHA!

  4. Kye says:

As soon as you remark something this elitist, this condescending, this self-unaware you show exactly why no discussion with people like you is possible.

” Do you think adding CO2 pollution to the atmosphere is a good thing? If so, why? Because it offends the knowledgeable?”

It is very amusing how all you leftists who ignore science when it comes to human biology and spout out dated and antiquated socialist schemes that have never worked and never will and who rely on “experts” who are proven wrong more often than not think you’re so much smarter than any body else.

You don’t even have enough self awareness to hear how smug, self centered and narcissistic you sound to other people not brainwashed into your religion.

That’s how TRump won. He pointed out how hollow and self serving you people are. And that’s why he’ll win again, you never learn.

    Trump 2020

BTW, that looks like the 1941 Packard Darrin (designed by the same guy who did the Kaiser Darrin) George Peppard drove in Banacek.

  5. Elwood P. Dowd says:

    Kye,

Thanks for the info on the car.

tRump won because he appealed to the angst of working class white Americans who see the middle class slipping away. Has he helped working class Americans? He’s certainly helped his, his family’s and his friend’s bank accounts, not to mention all the rich and shareholders!

But maybe I’m too optimistic regarding my fellow Americans. Perhaps you’re right and he won for bashing libs, gays, Blacks, Muslims and immigrants.

    • formwiz says:

I thought guys like Zippy and Gropin’ Joe loved the middle class. Yet they talked about how certain industries where working stiffs made a good living (coal ring a bell?) should be destroyed and talked about how, at a certain point, you’ve made enough money (unless you’re a Lefty Democrat politician who was a flop at everything else he did).

Fact is, a lot more people are working now that at any point during the last Administration (which had nothing to do with the current boom).

tRump won because he appealed to the angst of working class white Americans who see the middle class slipping away.

No, he had a plan and people liked his ideas. And he kept those promises. He also won by inviting homosexuals, blacks, Moslems and immigrants, but not illegals, to join him.

Thinking homosexuals, blacks, women, Hispanics, and others have been rallying to his standard for 4 years now. It’s why he’ll take at least 40 states.

He’s certainly helped his, his family’s and his friend’s bank accounts, not to mention all the rich and shareholders!

Haven’t you heard, Mr Capitalist, Mr Entrepreneur, shareholders are the little guys. Anybody with an insurance policy, an investment, a 401(k) or a pension (that the Demos haven’t bled dry yet) is a shareholder.

      So you see?

Even by your tortured (Spock, Saavik, Sarek, and Amanda forgive me) logic, Trump has helped everybody.

  6. Kye says:

Trump’s regulatory reforms an tax cuts have helped everybody. Elwood, I think you’re being either unreasonable or plain stupid to think if Trumps policies help the economy, produce jobs, lower unemployment and the many other positive effects they have had that he would not benefit from it just as we do. He is a citizen and businessman after all. Or should Trump be denied the benefits from his policies simply because you don’t like him.

Here are a couple of the brilliant leftist elites who would be you associates Elwood.

    • formwiz says:

He just pushes the party line, albeit not very well.

Right now, all they can whine about is, “Trump’s rich”. That went out with the Eisenhower Administration.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

We never took mind of tRump’s wealth until he became president and used the position to further enrich himself and his family.

It’s not appropriate for the president to accept money from foreign entities as it could be compromising.

Of course, tRump doesn’t abide by traditional American values, mores and laws.

        • formwiz says:

We never took mind of tRump’s wealth until he became president and used the position to further enrich himself and his family.

Of course, you did. You needed something to whine about once he beat the Hildabeast’s ass.

Sounds more like the Os and the Ozarks, especially the Ozarks, but Mike would still be grinding away at her token job if Zippy had lost and Zippy would still

It’s not appropriate for the president to accept money from foreign entities as it could be compromising.

Could only counts in horseshoes and appropriate is not a word to describe the shoeshine boy who was willing to let almost 40 Americans die in a war he started.

Of course, tRump doesn’t abide by traditional American values, mores and laws.

How would you know? you couldn’t describe traditional American values, mores and laws if you had a book in front of you.

All you have is innuendo and a lot of wishful thinking.

And, of course, hate. Can’t be a good Lefty without being a good hater.

  7. formwiz says:

You’re not saying you would have irresponsible sex with a woman you don’t even know, are you?

Is sex with strangers what you consider “normal” sex?

We suspect you talk a better game than you play. But they’re your fantasies old man.

Let’s hear you define normal (this should be a trip). And we’ve all had chance encounters. Most of us with the opposite sex, but this is not the way it is with the bunny suit, as he tells it.

And projecting what you call your suspicions about the rest of us comes as nothing new.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The Kleveland Kleagle can’t help himself. No self control. No responsibility.

Did any of your “chance encouters” end up in a pregnancy?

      • formwiz says:

Notice he does not answer, so we may infer his idea of normal is not ours.

And you have no clue (really) what I did with whom and when , so you just run your mouth.

We may however, infer one of yours ended in a restraining order (your words, not mine).
