Feds: Forgery operation produced over 10,000 fake documents
Located in an apartment in a primarily Hispanic town in Oregon, a clandestine lab churned out thousands of fake Social Security cards, drivers’ licenses and immigration documents that were sold around the United States for years.
The operation, revealed for the first time Tuesday in a federal court document, showed that a syndicate based in Oaxaca, Mexico, operated the forged-document factory in Woodburn, a town of 24,000 in an agricultural region a half-hour’s drive from Portland.
Employers, including farms, nurseries and wineries, routinely employ people who are in the United States illegally but who can produce a Social Security card or work visa. Many agricultural employers say it’s not their responsibility — and that they lack the expertise — to determine if the documents are genuine.
The arrest on Sept. 21, 2017, of Miguel Merecias-Lopez in a fast-food restaurant parking lot in Woodburn reveals how, in many cases, such documents are produced. Merecias-Lopez pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court in Portland to conspiracy to produce false identification documents and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He had gone to the parking lot to sell more than a kilogram (2.2 pounds) of meth, prosecutors said.
By “fake social security cars”, they mean ones linked to actual citizens, otherwise they wouldn’t pass any sort of backgrounds check, nor pass through to the IRS nor state departments of revenue. This is called “identity theft”, and can cause immense problems for the true owner of the SS#.
“The fraud ring operated in Woodburn for more than a decade and produced over 10,000 fraudulent documents that they distributed in Woodburn or mailed to customers around the United States,” U.S. Attorney Billy Williams and Assistant U.S. Attorney Peter Sax said in the plea agreement posted Tuesday in court documents. Previous detailed court documents remain under seal.
The Fraud Doc Ring produced a wide array of documents, including drivers’ licenses for over 25 different states, Social Security cards, lawful permanent resident cards, U.S. and Mexican birth certificates and marriage licenses.

I had this discussion with my dad last year. I brought up that illegals consume far more taxpayer money than they pay out in taxes. He said that they do pay their share of taxes. I said that if they do pay any taxes then they are using stolen SSN’s and fake IDs, which is criminal fraud and identity theft. Pffft, he didn’t seem to care at all about those crimes.

My great-grandfather (on my mother’s side) from Kentucky caught his “master” raping a young girl and snapped his neck. He escaped with his family north to Illinois.

If one agrees with “reparations” which would mean those alive today would be held financially responsible for slavery then it follows you should be held responsible for your great-grandfather’s commission of murder and be taken henceforth and hanged.
Reparations are a one time payment for a previous wrong. The left and their modern plantation folk don’t want reparations, they want Tribute. A half million white people died to free the slaves. Not good enough. They were given the nation of Liberia as a place to return home to and build their own country from what they had learned. They declined. All of this for people who never experienced slavery personally and paid for by citizens who never personally owned a slave. The totality of these programs was to cause hate and suspicion between the races, and create pockets of Democrat controlled poverty all with a price tag in the Trillions. NOW they want reparation? Only if they immediately discontinue all their racist black-based organizations like the SPLC and the NAACP, immediately emigrate to Liberia and renounce their American citizenship.
We are already being held captive with “Tributes” which go on and on with no end in sight. So white people with the approval of the USA enslaved hundreds of thousands of people, but the descendants of the enslaved should stop being so “uppity” and just be grateful since it was white people who “freed them”. Lynching and Jim Crow and “separate but equal” and real estate “redlining”… all white people oppressing Black people. There’s little question that the policies to give the US Black population a hand up have not always been effective. But you will need evidence to support your claim that race problems in the US, both social and economic, are a result of liberals.

Did they fight for the North or the South? Funny (ironic) thing about the war of 1861. The North resorted to enslaving their citizens to fight it and the South resorted to freeing their slaves to fight it. Then, the North, after “freeing” the slaves, re-enslaved them to work for the Northern Army.

Consider this the remaining US, after the South left, had no problem with slavery. So they are fighting the South to free the slaves, does not compute. They then say something about the Emancipation Proclamation, but that did not free a single slave.
30,000 blacks died of disease in the Civil War. 10,000 died in combat. Get your facts straight. 300,000 Confederates were killed by unions to free the slaves. They all died to free the slaves like it or not. In fact, it could be argued the Confederates were MURDERED by unions while protecting their property. However, you being a white hater and America hater cannot possibly understand that most of the Civil War crap you see is propaganda written by the victors. 97% of Confederate soldiers DID NOT OWN ONE SINGLE SLAVE. No, most white Southerners died because they had been invaded by a Northern army for exercising their Constitutional right to secede.

No, blacks were enslaved because Moslem raiders captured them and sold them to merchant captains. These captains crossed the Atlantic and sold them to British colonists (yep, Harvey knows as much about history as he does about science).
And the evils of the post-Reconstruction South were not the doing of Northerners or Westerners, so reparations should only be the responsibility of the South. Too bad people have moved since then.
