Considering the opinion of Conservatives on government, how is this a threat?
CHUCK SCHUMER SAYS REPUBLICANS MUST ‘ABANDON’ WALL IN ORDER TO REOPEN GOVERNMENT
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Republicans need to “abandon†border wall funding if they want the government to reopen, just less than 24 hours into the partial shutdown.
Schumer, who has strongly opposed funding President Donald Trump’s border wall, saidthis on the Senate floor Saturday afternoon as the federal government is officially in a partial shutdown after Senate Republicans failed to receive enough votes to pass a short-term spending bill Friday that included funding for a border wall.
The New York senator also said Democrats are “open to discussing any proposal as long as they do not include anything for the wall,†showing Democrats are not willing to compromise on border wall funding.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Democrats, including Schumer, voted for legislation that would build a wall. In fact, that legislation is still in force, and requires government funding for the wall.
As far as an extended shutdown, do we really care? I’m sure a bunch of unhinged #NeverTrumpers are suddenly upset over the prospect of the government being “closed” (most of it isn’t), and I’ve read a few of them freaking out. But, if unnecessary jobs are being put off during the shutdown, then we need to do away with the taxpayers funding jobs that are unnecessary. And, really, as far as it goes, most things necessary continue as normal. Trump isn’t putting up all sorts of “Barrycades” like Obama did, blocking monuments and such in D.C. and around the country, trying to inflict pain (which the media refused to call him out on).
While I do not see the need for a full wall along entire border, just in certain areas and other measures would work wonders in reducing illegal immigration, it is refreshing to see a Republican fight for what we want. We’ve been calling for Republicans to fight back. Like Trump or loathe him, he’s doing what we have wanted for a long time.
Interesting news. The Yellow VEST movement has not spilled over into BRITIAN and CANADA. Yes you heard me right. Canada. Another interesting facet of the movement is that its not actively being pursued in TAIWAN as well. Within a month it will be in all the mostly civilized nations on the planet.
What are they protesting. In most cases each state is protesting something a bit different but at the heart of the matter is Immigration. The UN’s recently signed pact on immigration is a license for the UN to dictate to each nation that immigration into their nation is a RIGHT and the nation has NO recourse.
Secondly and even worse. Speaking up against/Blogging/Making speeches about or in anyway objecting to the UN’s immigration policy is now an offense punishable by prision time.
ARE YOU FF’ING KIDDING ME. PRISION TIME for speaking out against an egregious policy passed without I repeat WITHOUT the citizens approval and signed by elite politicians on behalf of their citizens is now getting leader after leader canned all across the world.
Immigration is not a human right. It is not a RIGHT for anyone to flood into any country. It is a priviledge controlled by the individual nations.
The yellow vest movement is spreading throughout the world and it will only be a matter of time in the USA until millions of I WANT A WALL people take to the streets.
Chucky speaks for all Americans? I think not. Yellow Vests will protest in the street. Nancy Pelosi will pass her stupid bills she knows will never go to the floor of the senate or be signed by Trump and stalemate will occur.
Mark my words. The yellow vests are coming to America. And soon. It is spreading across the entire world against immigration. Denmark, Sweeden, Belgium, Canada and a 100 other countries have spent 2000 years developing their own cultures and now the UN wants to take it away from them with a sweep of the hand.

I do find it ironical the left was ANTI-WAR and now that TRUMP has decided to pull out of Syria and AFGHANISTAN they have once again lost their minds. But now the GOP is joining them.

I’m even in favor of bringing them home from Europe. America’s debt keeps skyrocketing as we subsidize the world while we as a nation continue on the slide to poverty while the rest of the world rides our coattails to poverty and famine.
The GOP can be counted on to lose their minds if their are no wars to be fought and the democrats can be called upon to fight a war if Trump doesn’t want to fight a war. Strange bedfellows Trump has created.
