Happy 4th of July to my American friends.
Please take a moment to remember that America is a philosophy as well as a country. That is why people are Pro American or Anti American, whereby it makes no sense to be Pro or Anti-Canadian.
We all take the concept for granted that “people should be governed by their consent.” However, I can tell you the rest of the world does not take it for granted.
Even in 2018 most of the world is “not free” and are ruled by unelected dictators or those that think they know better than the rest of us. Those of us who live in a Democracy must never forget this. There are constant forces from outside and within that want to change Democracy. They desire to enslave us as well as ironically themselves.
They want to trade liberty for security, not realizing they will have neither. Beware of those who claim they want to change the world. They secretly want to rule it!
