    My accountant, who owns her own firm, and has tolerated me for decades, tells me that based on the latest bill iteration, our taxes will be going down!! Thanks GOP! We don’t need a tax cut but thanks anyway!

    But one of tRumps supporters, whom he used and discarded, working hard every day making $45,000 a year doesn’t catch a break.

    The GOP’s “reasoning” is the worn-out notion of “trickle-down economics”, that cutting taxes on America’s wealthy and increasing corporate profits will “trickle down” to the people who actually do all the work by creating more jobs and raising wages! It’s like magic. There is no evidence that this notion works.

    Corporate profits are at record highs! The wealthy have never been wealthier! Why hasn’t it trickled down already? Will giving millionaires like us a thousands more dollars fix the economy?

    I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled (sic) guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!

    tRump’s personal lawyer, John Dowd, fell on his sword, saying that tRump DID NOT tweet this, LOL. A lawyer used the word, “pled”, LOL?

      Garner states that “The best course is to treat plead as a weak verb, so that the correct past tense, as well as past participle, is pleaded.” He goes on to say that pled and plead are alternative past- tense forms with “some standing” in American English (and that “pled” is a common variant in legal usage).
