(The Blaze) An environmental group wrote an open letter to Britain’s royal family last week demanding that they stop having kids.
During a recent visit to Poland by Britain’s Prince William and his wife, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, the mother of two joked about having more children.
Presented with the gift of a baby’s toy during the visit, the duchess said to her husband, “We will just have to have more babies,â€Â according to the Telegraph.
An environmental group responded to her comment and urged the couple not to have more children.
In an open letter to William and Kate, the San Francisco-based organization Having Kids — which promotes smaller families as the solution to climate change — wrote, “We read with interest your statements about having more children.â€
“We wanted to offer a few thoughts for your consideration,†the group continued. “As you know and appreciate, the example the British Royal Family sets is extremely influential. Many studies also show that public figures serve as effective role models when it comes to family planning. Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity.â€
Interestingly, this same group hasn’t gone after people like Al Gore and other ‘climate change’ believers who have large families. Regardless, they’re all a bunch of wackjobs. Ones who get taken seriously by the Credentialed Media.
Her Majesty was not amused.
Not to worry, whilst failed presidential candidate Al Gore and his (now estranged) wife had four children, they are partially offset by failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton having only had one, and even having Chelsea was probably a political act to help her husband keep his job as Governor of Arkansas. And it seems that liberals in general have fewer children than conservatives. For all of their obsession with sex, it appears that the left have less sex that is actually capable of reproduction; their interest in promoting ‘transgenderism’ and homosexuality are fertility dead-ends. Given that the strongest predictor of a person’s political leanings is his parents’ political beliefs, it’s a very good thing that the left have fewer children.
