Pelosi: Hey, There’s No Need To Change The Direction Of The Democratic Party

One has to wonder if Democrats saw this interview or read about it and went

(Daily Caller) House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said she doesn’t believe people in the Democratic party want to take a new direction during an appearance on “Face the Nation” Sunday.

Despite the Democrats underwhelming results on election night, Pelosi said the party is not questioning its identity.

“Well, I don’t think that people want a new direction. Our values unify us,” she told host John Dickerson. “And our values are about supporting America’s working families. That’s one that everyone is in agreement on.”

Yet, America’s working families have rather checked out on the Democrats in large numbers. They’ve been losing at the federal, state, and local level since the 2010 elections. Under Pelosi’s leadership (should that be in quotes?), the House has seen historic losses. You can obviously blame that a bit on Obama, but, Obama didn’t suffer himself in 2012. Regardless, she sees no problem with the values of the Democrats, like jacking up the minimum wage which will put so many of the working families on the unemployment line as they are priced out of a job. Or forcing citizens to accept the gender confused in the bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers with their underage daughters. Or all the Special Snowflakes and Social Justice Warriors having fits over everything that causes a little bit of upset, requiring safe spaces and coloring books and demands for fascistic regulations.

Or how the economy is basically hanging on a life line thanks to Democrat policies. Or the poor state of health insurance thanks to Obamacare. Or that they want gun confiscation. Or that they’re policies make citizens less safe from crime. Or that they favor illegal aliens over American citizens. Or that they want to bring in tens of thousands of people from areas rife with Islamic extremism with virtually no background checks. Or etc and so on.

“What we want is a better connection of our message to working families in our country. And that clearly in the election showed that message wasn’t coming through,” she said. “But we are united in terms of the security of our country, which is our first responsibility, to be smart and strong and not reckless in how we protect the American people, strong in how we protect our economy.”

In Nancy’s World, it’s not that the message is bad, but that they need better distribution. I guess she missed that their message has been propagated via social media directly to the consumer, without the Credentialed Media filter, and it hasn’t helped Democrats.

That said, from a pragmatic point of view, Republicans should hope that Nancy holds the course.

    Even Michael Flynn, a retired general who President-elect Trump has tapped to advise him on national security, shared stories about another anti-Clinton conspiracy theory involving pedophilia.

    Racist and pro-Trump graffiti appears in South Philly following election

    South Philadelphia residents awoke Wednesday to find racist and pro-Trump graffiti spray painted on their storefronts, cars, and homes.

    Police said officers responded to reports of vandalism to a house and three cars on the 900 block of South Sixth Street in the Bella Vista section around 8:30 a.m.

    One of the damaged cars was a white SUV that had “Trump Rules” and “Black Bitch” spray-painted across it in large black letters.

    The 62-year-old owner of the car is a black woman who asked that her name be withheld. She said her first reaction was: “Oh, my God.

    …Around 10:44 a.m., police responded to the 1300 block of South Broad Street in Point Breeze, where a swastika, the words “Sieg Heil 2016,” and the word “Trump” with the ‘T’ replaced by a swastika were spray-painted on the windows of an empty fur store on the anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Nazi pogrom of 1938.

    At 1:10 p.m., police said, they were called to Broad and Reed Streets in Point Breeze, where a utility box had “Trump” and a swastika painted on it.

    The police thankfully caught the culprit.

    The South Jersey man charged with vandalizing three vehicles and a home in South Philadelphia the day after the presidential election was the ex-boyfriend of one of the victims of the damage, court documents show.

    William Tucker, 58, of the unit block of Hemmings Way in Lawnside, Camden County, is accused of having spray painted three vehicles — one with the words “Trump Rules” and “Black Bitch” — and a house on the morning of Nov. 9, in the area of 6th and Christian Streets, at the border of Bella Vista and Queen Village.

    Did we mention (because the article doesn’t) that Tucker was the ex-boyfriend of the women with the van and is black?

    The “racism” from “Trump supporters” was actually simply a jilted lover but that won’t come out or be reported enough. Instead, the meme will continue of racism from Trump supporters.

    Except, no, that’s not what their “values” are. Rather, the Democrats’ values are about supporting America’s non-working families, about supporting welfare leeches. That’s why they’ve lost the support of the white working class — and have even seen some cracks among blacks; 13% of black males voted for Donald Trump — because actual working people and welfare leeches are natural enemies; they cannot co-exist.
