Silence on Climate Change Is Another Form of Denial
(Lots of whining about Matthew, how the Paris climate accord will fail to keep the world below 2C, and so on)
Following the only U.S. vice-presidential debate on Tuesday, May Boeve, executive director of 350.org, said: “Yet again, tonight’s debate moderator dropped the ball on climate change. Silence is another form of denial, and the TV networks are doing the public a great disservice by ignoring the issue, especially when there are such clear differences between the candidates.â€
Well, that’s a new one. If you don’t speak up in support of policies that will raise your cost of living and restrict your liberty, you must be a denier. Even if you are a card carrying member of the Cult.
So, I wonder, what does it say about people who talk the talk but refuse to walk the walk? Wouldn’t this make them the worst deniers of all?

Are they talking about “climate change” which just about everybody acknowledges, or AGW which only children, communists and cultists believe in? They keep changing the name according to whatever point they’re trying to make.
Yes john, Republicans believe in climate change. No john, we don’t necessarily believe a dangerous amount of it is man made nor do we believe that we should “do something” regardless of the cost in both money and freedom.
Most of the reason guys like you are ignored as idiots is because when you could actually be making a point you do something dumb like equating ISIS with climate change. We all know ISIS is man made and climate change is natural.

Just another conservamyth. No one changed anything. Global warming and climate change are used interchangeably. Recall that the IPCC (the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has been around for about 3 decades.

In the 1970’s the professional fear mongers (mostly on the Left) warned the world of an impending Ice Age and its dire impact on the globe, their solution: more government spending and centralized control of the economy. That threat failed to sufficiently strike fear into the hearts of the people so beginning in the late 1980’s Global Warming became the cause celebre.
Learning their lesson from the failed Ice Age gambit, the proponents, including the IPCC cadre of government paid propagandists, cited all sorts of “scientific consensus†to buttress their argument and unsurprisingly their solution was: more government spending and centralized control of the economy.
Recently, when the actual research revealed that there was in fact no appreciable global warming over an 19-year period, the terminology shifted to “Climate Change” (a meaningless catchall phrase as the climate is consistently variable.) This is now “the†potential scourge of the earth and the solution: yes, more government spending and centralized control of the economy. However, in harmony with the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland, these zealots now demand that all who are understandably skeptical, based on factual evidence, accept their theories and solutions without equivocation or off with their heads (through legal and government sanctioned intimidation so far.)
Two years ago my wife bought a new Bentley Mulsanne and a resident leftist at the Club made a climate change comment. I pointed out the his Cadillac and her Bentley were only a matter of degrees which made him a hypocrite.
So JOHN I ask you ….what is stopping the world from fixing the CO2 problem?
