Appeals Court Deems Pro-life License Plates Legal

Of course, the pro-abortion crowd, like those at WRAL, deem this as anti-abortion, like that’s a bad thing

North Carolina drivers opposed to abortion will soon be able to display their view on the back of their cars.

The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday that “Choose Life” license plates state lawmakers approved in 2011 are constitutional, reversing a decision the same court made two years ago.

The ACLU and other abortionistas had a right old snit over the plates, because some people dared to not only be pro life, but wanted to let people know it. They very much want license plates that give the other view. You know, the one about killing the unborn, mostly because the babies are an inconvenience to those who were to foolish to take proper precautions.

Teach will you be posting your own car with the new plates? Gotta walk that walk………
Teach do you think taht the NC legislature should also pass laws so that people on the opposite side of the issue could show their viewpoint ? Like
in the article “Trust Women Respect Choice”
The ACLU is in a right snit…….. only because their view is NOT allowed on plates. Do you believe it should be allowed?

  2. Dana says:

John, for the ACLU and Planned Abortionhood to have a license plate supporting “the opposite side of the issue,” it would have to read the opposite, which would be “Choose Death.” Such a plate would reflect their views exactly and clearly.

Hmmm, I wonder if I could get away with a “denialist” plate in CA? That would be a good test of whether they deem non-climastrology speech too offensive to leftist sensibilities.

This is odd. John and other liberals were against license plates with Confederate battle flags and heralded the decisions that allowed states not to be forced to issue them, even though they issued other plates with similar themes.

Now liberals are saying the state has to issue plates with a certain message on them.

Once again we see that liberals want to stifle speech with which they disagree and allow only speech with which they agree.
