Hillary Won’t Say If She’s Ever Lied To American People

Well, on the bright side, at least she won’t lie about lying. She will dissemble and obfuscate, though

(Daily Caller) During a Thursday interview with CBS’s Scott Pelley, Clinton said, “I don’t believe I ever have” lied to voters.

Pelley began by asking Clinton, “You know in ’76, Jimmy Carter famously said, ‘I will not lie to you.’”

“Well, I will tell you, I have tried in every way I know how, literally from my years as a young lawyer, all the way through my time as secretary of state to level with the American people,” Clinton claimed.

Pelley replied, “You talk about leveling with the American people. Have you always told the truth?”

“I’ve have always tried to, always, always,” Clinton suggested.

After being asked a third time by Pelley, she went with “You know, you’re asking me to say, ‘Have I ever?’ I don’t believe I ever have… I don’t believe I ever will. I’m going to do the best I can to level with the American people.” The woman is incapable of giving a straight answer, but, hey, she tried to tell the truth. Except for things like

  • Saying Chelsea was jogging around the WTC on 9/11
  • Landing under sniper fire in Bosnia
  • Being dead broke after leaving White House
  • Being part of the Northern Ireland peace process
  • Benghazi

Politifact has a nice long list of Hillary false statements. Her conflicts of interest between her job as Secretary of State and hooking up her Clinton Foundation and her inability to admit it is a lie on her part.

She’s lied about her insecure, home-brew server, which has exposed many of America’s biggest secrets and put people in danger.

Hillary backed Bill’s lies about his sexual assaults on numerous women, and lied about them directly herself.

Her lies go on and on and on. It’s no wonder that only 67% find her trustworthy.

Well, that’s the last interview Pelley gets with Hillary.

As for Hillary, she must have left there fuming. Asked straight out if she ever lied, she lied in her answer. Of course! Why expect anything else? She’s a chronic pathological liar.

  2. I remember her first lie back when she and her husband (Bill) were running against G.H.W. Bush for President. When the subject of her husband cheating came up, she deflected the conversation into Bush also having an affair that “everyone in Washington knew about”. It was a blatant fabrication and the media even then never called her on it.

  3. Jeffery says:

LOL. A politician who shades the truth! Benghazi!! My daughter was jogging!

Should our government officials tell us everything they know at all times?

    We did not torture.

Recall that an entire US administration lied to the American people to enable the invasion of Iraq in Spring 2003, and the dead of Iraq cry out from their graves.

  4. Dana says:

As Jeffrey has just proved, the left don’t care if Mrs Clinton is a lying scumbag. She supports abortion and she’d appoint leftist judges, and that’s all that matters to them.

They could catch Mrs Clinton literally sucking blood from someone’s neck, find out that she is an actual vampire, and they’d still vote for her.

  5. drowningpuppies says:

    On dodging sniper fire in Bosnia;

“I did make a mistake in talking about it, you know, the last time and recently,” Clinton told reporters in Pennsylvania where she was campaigning before the state’s April 22 primary. She said she had a “different memory” about the landing.

“So I made a mistake. That happens. It proves I’m human, which, you know, for some people, is a revelation.”

    Sound familiar?

  6. Jeffery says:

    Dava,

What we demonstrated is that politicians shade the truth all the time. When a politician looks us in the eye and says “I have not lied; I will not lie” he is lying.

When will Rafael Cruz and Don Trump be subjected to the same scrutiny by the media?

We get it. You disapprove of progressive/liberal policies. We support progressive/liberal policies. We agree with the notion that government can assist citizens in securing their general welfare and protect citizens from tyrants, whether private, public or corporate. We oppose justices who would typically concur with Justice Scalia. We support progressive taxation, and oppose regressive taxation. We support reasonable limits on capitalism. We support the safety net supporting the general welfare, including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment payments and “food stamps”. We believe that religious beliefs are personal and the government has little role. We believe that because the Earth is rapidly warming that we need to transition from fossil fuels to non-CO2 emitting sources (and this is a global problem). We admire the diversity and courage of the American people. We support a woman’s right to choose to have an abortion. We believe in the American people working together to build roads, schools, airports, dams, ports and a strong military. We believe that all Americans should have the opportunity to achieve their dreams – no guarantee, mind you – but an equal opportunity.

We don’t care much about vampires, pant-suits, hairstyles, cankles, marital infidelities, or the occasional fib or exaggeration… and if you’re not concerned about the prior administrations lethal lies, why would you worry about when or where Hillary’s daughter was jogging? Senator Cruz and Don Trump are lying about each other every day? So?

Secretary Clinton is the likely Democratic nominee and we will support her without any reservation over any of the potential Republican nominees. Why? Because her ideology is more in line with our political ideology as outlined above. And from a practical viewpoint she is has a world’s worth of experience compared to Sanders, Trump, Cruz or Rubio.

We get it. Republicans disagree with her ideology and potential policy support so they will do whatever they can to stop her. We get it. It’s politics.

I don’t recall that at all. We have been over this time and time again and yet you keep trying to sell people on your false belief.

Should our government officials tell us everything they know at all times?

There is a difference between saying “I am not going to comment on that” and lying.

Of course, the opposite thought is that should government officials reveal secret and classified information to unauthorized people and other unfriendly countries? Hillary doesn’t have an issue with that.

If people can stomach it, here is a video on Hillary lying – in her own words.

    You haven’t demonstrated anything.
And who’s this we you reference.
    Getting help typing your replies?

“When will Rafael Cruz and Don Trump be subjected to the same scrutiny by the media?”

You must be in a coma to have written that.
A better question would be, why didn’t Barry Soetoro receive any media scrutiny at all?

  9. Jeffery says:

    This candidate claimed
“watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering.”

    and

“Many people jumped and I witnessed it, I watched that. I have a view — a view in my apartment that was specifically aimed at the World Trade Center.”

    and

“How did he keep us safe when the World Trade Center — the World — excuse me. I lost hundreds of friends…”

    and

This candidate supported invading Iraq before he opposed it!

    and

“I’ve never gone bankrupt!” (Yet four of his companies went into Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which keeps the owner/investor from going into Chapter 13).

    and

“I’m not taking money from donors!”

    and

“I avoided Vietman because of high draft numbers!” (Or student deferments and a questionable medical deferment – a heel spur).

I find it fascinating that Jeff and John will support Hillary. She embodies every single trait that they hate and condemn conservatives for supposedly holding similar attitudes.

For the record, Hillary is corrupt as well and sells influence without any screen at all. She is also a lesbian, not that that in itself is a problem, but she hides the fact and acts as if she is so happily married.

At the end of the day you have to ask, why is she running? The answer is for self interest only. She does not want to participate in making the country better, especially after the ruin caused by our current great leader.

I don’t recall that at all. We have been over this time and time again and yet you keep trying to sell people on your false belief.

Just because you Deny it doesn’t mean it’s not true. It’s not just my “belief”, even mainstream Republicans like Trump and Rubio recognize that our President and his minions lied to the American people.

The weak-kneed Obama should have pressed the prosecution of the potential war criminals in the Bush administration, but instead he chose to “look forward”. Big mistake.

But we will never settle this. I will keep stating it and you keep saying it’s untrue.

    Hence, the escalation of exaggeration.

  13. Jeffery says:

    dave,the white supremacist types:

    She’s “corrupt” and a “lesbian”.

We type: Rafael Cruz is corrupt and a closeted gay (a bottom, too!). Donald Trump is abusive to women, and more corrupt than you can imagine.

The Donald marries, then when he tires of her, finds a new girl to screw, dumps the current wife and marries the new girl after he’s certain he likes what he screws. Lather, rinse, repeat.

    So what?

The difference between the policy prescriptions and ideology of the Republican and Democratic nominees will be wide. We don’t care how many penises Cruz played with, if Hillary is a lesbian or how many prostitutes The Donald has beaten. We can always find something personal to dislike in any candidate. We don’t even care that Cruz is/was? a Canadian, as long as the courts vouch for his qualification to be President. We care about policy.

The policies of Presidents such as Reagan (economic, taxes, deregulation), Clinton (deregulation), Dubya (economic, taxes and foreign) harmed the nation. We oppose those policies that harm the working classes and hence, the nation.

Hankm, The “We” we refer to is the team of analysts and researchers I made up. I read a blog once where the author pretentiously and self-importantly used the royal “we” and I liked it immediately! I use it now in jest to irk folks like you.

We get it. You hate Hillary for the same reasons you hate Bill, Obama and Al Gore. They represent the other “tribe”. They are Sunni to your Shia. We get it. Why not just admit it? Because admitting it doesn’t gain you any advantage. Smearing the candidate (and voter suppression) is to your advantage. Sheesh.

  14. Jeffery says:

    suckingpuppies,

You’re right, we may have exaggerated. It wasn’t the entire administration, just the President, VP, Secretaries of State, Sec of Defense, Deputy Sec of Defense, Press Secretary, National Security advisors, etc etc. I’m sure there were a few undersecretaries and some receptionists who did not. And let’s not let our corporate media off the hook either.

    http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/the-new-lie-about-iraq/

Only someone who Denies that the Earth is warming could Deny that the Bush administration lied to get us to invade Iraq.

  15. Hank_M says:

Irk me jeffery? Hardly. Your trolling is laughable.

But at least you admit you have no integrity and will support a liar, fraud and criminal. And your pathetic defense is “but Bush”?

As to “we get it”. No. You and your invisible friends do not. But do keep telling yourselves that.

  16. gitarcarver says:

Just because you Deny it doesn’t mean it’s not true. It’s not just my “belief”, even mainstream Republicans like Trump and Rubio recognize that our President and his minions lied to the American people.

It is not true because the facts don’t support the allegation.

The weak-kneed Obama should have pressed the prosecution of the potential war criminals in the Bush administration, but instead he chose to “look forward”. Big mistake.

That would have been funny to watch another issue of Obama’s go down in flames.

But we will never settle this. I will keep stating it and you keep saying it’s untrue.

I agree. You will keep lying and I will keep telling the truth. That’s really what bothers you the most.

  18. Jeffery says:

    hankm

    Irk me jeffery?

    You brought it up.

Support a liar.. blah blah blah

Who are you voting for? If you vote for a Republican or a Democrat, it’s for a liar (by your definition of liar).

Hillary’s no worse, and is probably better than most.

Bush was not a defense, but an example.

What “honest” American do you support? Cruz the Canadian, dirty trickster? Trump the philandering, congenital liar? Rubio who lied about his parents and flippity flopped on immigration? Jeb! the squish, doubling down on Dubya’s lies? Ben (hammer and knife) Carson? Kasich, who was against Medicaid expansion (2010) before he was for it (2015) now he’s against it? What honest Republican do you support? Don’t answer, you know it’s a trap.

We get it. To you, Hillary is a liar, cheat, scoundrel, lesbian and a criminal because you don’t like the policies she supports. You don’t want her to be President. It’s politics. We get it. I don’t want a Republican to win because I believe their policies will harm America and Americans, both acutely and in the long run. That’s my position and I’m sticking to it.

Conservatives lie because reality does not support their political positions. Tax cuts for the wealthy are good for the working classes! CO2 is not and can not cause the Earth’s surface to warm! The Bush administration was open and honest with the American people about invading Iraq! Bill Engvall is funny!

Facts have a well-known liberal bias.

    jeffery, calm down.
Where exactly did I define the term liar? Hint, I didn’t.
But then it doesn’t really need defining does it?

You are correct though. When it comes to being a liar Hillary is indeed better than most.
The only liar I’ve seen that’s rivals her is Barry Soetoro. Someone else you support.
But the reason why Hillary’s lies are worse than all others you mentioned is that she lies even when she doesn’t have to. Just like Bill. Then again, she may be shaking that habit now that she’s taken to barking like some deranged lunatic.

Didn’t know she’s a lesbian though. Isn’t important but for some reason you thought it worth bringing up.

As for facts, wrong yet again. Facts have no bias.

No, you (and your imaginary friends – named any yet?) do not get it.
And I seriously doubt you all ever will.

What’s your plan for when Secretary Clinton becomes President Clinton? It’s gonna happen.

The media have yet to vet Mssrs. Trump, Roboto or Cruz. No matter. The Clinton machine has dossiers on all and have the TV ads in the hopper just waiting. It won’t be close unless the Republican “suppress/steal the vote” apparatus is in full swing. Of course right-wingers aren’t bothered by those shenanigans as long as they retain power. Hillary may even pull 4 Dem Senators over the finish line giving the Dems the Senate. Hello Justice Eric Holder!!

So what’s your plan? Go back to beating your wife and kids? Leave the US? Rebel? Plant bombs? Shoot up a grade school?

    Oh, never mind.

    Another lie from Senator Sociopath:

It has been 80 years since a Supreme Court vacancy was nominated and confirmed in an election year. There is a long tradition that you don’t do this in an election year.”—Senator Ted Cruz

    http://www.scotusblog.com/2016/02/supreme-court-vacancies-in-presidential-election-years/

And Teddy, 2016 minus 1940 is 76 not 80. (It’s a well known fact that sociopaths are bad at arithmetic.)

    Teddy invented this new “tradition”.

Hillary Clinton has been in the crosshairs for at least 24 years, a first lady, a Senator, The Secretary of State – Teddy for only a couple of years. Yet, he’s already a more skilled liar! Must be a Republican thing. Sociopaths can lie and not let on because they believe their own flies.

Sociopathy in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing in a leader. Politicians and business leaders have always been overrepresented. A study out of Emory University a few years ago ranked US Presidents on dominance and lack of social conscience revealing Teddy (Roosevelt) to be the most sociopathic, followed by John F. Kennedy, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, Rutherford Hayes, Zachary Taylor, Bill Clinton, Martin Van Buren, Andrew Jackson and George W. Bush.

We’re not sure where a President Cruz would fall on that list, but surely President Trump would be the new winner.

Sociopaths don’t need no stinkin’ facts, data or evidence – they keep all they need in their head, and create new ones as needed!
