Rising Football Start Killed In Gang Related Shooting, Obama Immediately Calls For Gun Control

He can’t help himself in blaming the gun, rather than the gang culture

(NBC News) As Knoxville, Tennessee, continued grappling with the killing of rising high school football star Zaevion Dobson, President Barack Obama took to Twitter to repeat his call for stricter gun control laws.

“Zaevion Dobson died saving three friends from getting shot,” Obama wrote Sunday from Hawaii, where he arrived Friday for the holidays. “He was a hero at 15. What’s our excuse for not acting?”

Obama’s concern was more for restricting law abiding citizens from owning guns than for this young man shot down by people in another mostly Democratic run city. This from a guy surrounded by people carrying guns, many of them illegal to own by American citizens.

And then, because he was so utterly concerned, he and the family set off on a hike at the Makiki Loop Hawaii Nature Center during their 1%er taxpayer funded vacation.

Of course, it also took several days for Obama to care (well, at least care about gun control), since the shooting occurred Thursday night. Perhaps Mr. Obama could tell us what laws would stop gang members, in this case Black ones, from acquiring guns and shooting people.

The Black Lives Matter crew didn’t seem to care that much, either.
