Republicans Say They Will Keep Trying To Block Obama’s Climate Change Push

And we all trust the Establishment GOP to fight the good fight, right?

Republicans upset with President Barack Obama’s international climate change agreement remain committed to the few options they have to do something about it.

“Honestly, I never feel helpless,” insisted Rep. Mike Kelly, R-Pa., one of the leaders in the House opposing Obama’s climate change plans.

“Whatever is going to happen today is going to happen today. This is a generational battle. If we think after one battle, one skirmish, we should throw in the towel, we are not leading the America that we have been entrusted with.”

Way down in the article they note that the historic agreement is non-binding, voluntary, and has no force of law. All Republicans need to do is refuse to fund it….yeah, about that

(The Hill) In a victory for the Obama administration, the spending package released by congressional leaders on Wednesday won’t block American financial contributions to an international climate fund for poorer nations.

The bill, greens and Democrats say, doesn’t explicitly appropriate funding for President Obama’s pledged contribution to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). But since the legislation doesn’t formally block money for the GCF either, Obama is expected to be able to use current discretionary funding streams to send American money to it.

“Based on what we have reviewed so far, there are no restrictions on our ability to make good on the president’s pledge to contribute to the Green Climate Fund,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said on Wednesday.

Fortunately, Obama will use the hard earned tax money of American’s that the GOP didn’t block to fund foolish, un-scientific ventures in other nations.

I will do you one better. Canada is going to borrow the money, to giveaway!!!

However the good news is that now Canada is only going to give away 900,000,000 a year for 5 years.

U.S. will give away the same amount this year but if the Republicans win in 2016 then maybe you won’t.

For an American skeptic, it no longer appears that you have to worry about a carbon tax or cap and trade. Your concern is that the UN is lying to the general public. However governments are always lying to their public.

Saddly though in Canada the scam is alive and well with a carbon tax or cap and trade in full swing. The amounts may now be smaller than previously thought, but you can die from a thousand small cuts as well as one big one. There is thoughts that the politicians were taken a back in Paris once they saw how much emphasis was on wealth distribution vs C02 reduction. Who knows.

There is no difference between the GOP in Congress and the Democrat Socialist party.

I’m done with them. To vote in constitutionalists and small-gov’t types, to then turn around and not fight against Obama, to not shrink the oppressive and tyrannical Federal Gov’t, and to then appoint Paul Ryan as their leader, is to me a travesty of what America used to be.

Those who profess to not be part of the GOP and it’s ills, should severely denounce the GOP’s current actions, and threaten the GOP’s destruction should it not sustain the ideals that it was founded under, namely freedom and small gov’t.

Yes what noble ideals these are.
Most people are also unaware that theRepublican party was founded by anti-slavery activists, modernizers, ex-Whigs, and ex-Free Soilers in 1854.
American blacks are thought to support the democrats, but it was the Republicans that lobbied for abolition.

American Blacks are not as stupid as conservative Republicans think. Republicans used to be the liberals, and southern Democrats were the conservative racists. My, how times have changed. Should Blacks be nostalgic about the party of Lincoln that now despises them?

The current GOP represents the interests of the wealthy and Caucasian heterosexual Christians. No one else need apply. Except Vladimir Putin. They love them some Putin.
