I know liberals who refuse to drink coffee for ideological reasons. From what I can glean from their poorly reasoned explanations, their problem with coffee is that:
1) It is exploitative of workers
2) It is exploitative of farmers
3) It replaces food crops while there are hungry people in the world.
They seem hotly emotional about it, so I just say “Mmm hmmm, mmmm hmmm” in the same way I do when a little kid tells me that his puppy wants to be an astronaut when he grows up.
