(Bloomberg) Ahmed Mohamed thought he was building a clock, but it turned out to be a magnet for fear and misunderstanding. Now he’s got an invitation to tell his story at the White House.
President Barack Obama on Wednesday invited the 14-year-old high school freshman to attend Astronomy Night at the White House on Oct. 19. That came a day after police in Irving, Texas, arrested him after mistaking his engineering project for a bomb.
Mark Zuckerberg, the billionaire founder of the social networking giant Facebook Inc., also invited Mohamed to visit his company’s headquarters.
There’s no doubt Ahmed’s arrest was utterly ridiculous and beyond over the top. It said more about the hyper-vigilance and bat guano insanity of schools these days more than any sort of Islamophobia. Remember all the kids busted for making guns with fingers and pop-tarts? Those busted for having water pistols and Nerf guns? For simply drawing a gun?
Speaking of all those kids, where’s their invite to the White House? Heck, even a tweet from B.O.?
Where’s the invite to the family of Kate Steinle, killed by a 5 time deported illegal alien? How about a tweet of support or a phone call? They received none. The White House even scoffed at “Kate’s Law”, which would restrict federal funds from Sanctuary cities. The White House refused to even discuss the issue.
You know who else gets an invite from the White House?
In a stunning show of political indecorum, Obama has invited a series of individuals who publicly flout Catholic teaching, including a pro-abortion religious sister, a transgender woman and the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, along with at least two Catholic gay activists.
What of the all the people and families affected by violent, and non-violent, crime committed by illegal aliens? All those who were raped (including children), assaulted, and killed by illegals? Why no invite or mention from the White House and, specifically, Mr. Obama?

First john, while the pop tart kid was not arrested and fingerprinted, he was denied his civil rights of due process and was suspended just like the clock kid was.
Now we all know that you hate civil rights for people you despise and try and make an argument where none exists, but this is over the top for even you.
It should be remembered that Ahmed Mohamed’s clock went off in class. It should be remembered that when asked, he couldn’t explain how he built the clock.
It should also be remembered that you had no issues with stupid “zero tolerance” policies when they were applied in other cases and now that they were applied in this case, you want to scream and act like a little child.
The fact of the matter is that once again we see the policies of the left coming back to bite them in the butt and people like john try to blame others for their failure.

Are you aware how stupid you are?? The founding fathers did not have to contend with mines. Mines were developed later around the War of Northern Aggression. They were used by the CSA and the Yankees, you, would routinely round up innocent civilians and march them over the mine fields to defuse the problem, much like the Nazis. In fact, the Nazis were very much shocked that the US took issue with their crimes as we had set the precedent.
Now, on the kid. There was not bomb related event. That was made up, as usual, by the Muslim parents and the press. The problem was something else and will be known later when the school board releases the information. The school system in Dallas and Irving is part of Dallas is not going to do something stupid.
