Interestingly, much of Japan’s pre-WW2 and during WW2 ideology was based on the The Consensus State, where everything was about the collective whole. Throw In A Smattering of authoritarianism and you have a system much closer to your beliefs than mine.
But, I refuse to play your little game. Their system doesn’t resemble yours or mine. It was totally separate. I do find it interesting that the first thing that comes to your mind is hard core politics rather than your father’s service.
