I grew up outside if Boston
I never skated on what we use to call artificial ice until my freshman year in high school
Our hockey team used to mostly practice on pond afternoons and rent artificial ice time on some mornings and game day
That was about 50 years ago
Not sure if the polar vortex has allowed pond skating to resume it was gone for about 30 years
I think we should quarantine all if Texas and if even one more case develops we nuke them
