The “Arthur Is Climate Change” Wonks Are Out In Force

You knew this had to happen, blaming Tropical Storm Arthur on “climate change”. Here’s a smattering

This will only get worse over the next few days.

If that’s the case, why are we only seeing our first Hurricane/Tropical Storm in JULY? Doesn’t the season officially begin in June?

It seems that Climate Change is indeed a “better” term for the whole AGM scam movement, since it DOES change.

First, in the 70’s, we were headed to a new Ice Age.

Then, in the 80’s and 90’s, we were all going to burn up from the trapped heat.

Now, the same climate that was “the warmest ever!” last year is the same “polar vortex” that killed the Q1 GDP.

Why, it’s as if, no matter what happens, it’s somehow caused by us, and not the massive Sun we orbit …

It’s the modern day version of the (then corrupt) Church’s selling of indulgences.

    Keep fighting the good fight!

I used to doubt climate change — but, a hurricane! We’ve never had a hurricane!

  3. cas says:

    Exactly, jd–!
I’m also trying to figure out exactly HOW they figure that a hurricane hitting the East / Gulf coast of N.America is a CHANGE in climate…

  4. JGlanton says:

You got it JD. #Arthur. I used to doubt climate change but then we got this drought here in the west. We’ve never had a drought out west. You have to go all the way back to twenty ought eight to find another drought. Afore that was ’98, then the big drought of ’82-83, then a bunch of others, then there were the bad old days where it droughted almost continuously from 1898 to 1930. Probably cause by man and his industrial age, the Model-T Ford, and drinking too much.

  5. Better_Be_Gumballs says:

    ROFL JD!!!

JG, you lie. We’ve never ever had a drought in the west before. Not even during the nasty hot days of the 30’s or the 90’s. That was only back in the old days. We only pay attention to the now a days when there isn’t history to pay attention to. You see, NOW is now and right now it is hotter than it has been all year long. SO, yeah, that’s CLIMATE CHANGE.

And, we’ve not had a chance of a hurricane hitting mainland USA at all this year so this being the first means it’s CLIMATE CHANGE!!!

Staring at girly pics has rotted your brain. Makes you think of nasty things like “history” when you should be focusing on the burning of poles.

Now #Arthur is here, it’s time for some fun: Q. What cocktail do you serve a #climate change denier at a party? A. A hurricane without ice.

I’m sorry… what?!?! What the hell does that mean? I’m not a drinker, so is that a reference to a drink?? If so, … what the hell does that mean?!??!

Don’t forget about the earthquakes and tsunamis that are caused by climate change. As well as the increased mosquitoes that we can’t combat because of the ban on DDT, because of a book of fiction. Then the increased tropical diseases and heat stroke. Maybe climate change is the reason we are stuck with Obama.
