Obamacare’s So Awesome that Harry Reid Exempts Some Of His Staff

I thought everyone was going to love this law?

(CNN) Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, one of Obamacare’s architects and staunchest supporters, is also the only top congressional leader to exempt some of his staff from having to buy insurance through the law’s new exchanges.

Reid and his personal staff will buy insurance through the exchange.

But it’s also true that the law lets lawmakers decide if their committee and leadership staffers hold on to their federal employee insurance plans, an option Reid has exercised.

Who wants to bet that Reid and and other Dem leaders find a way to circumvent having to enroll themselves by the end of 2014?

No way. All the Dems voted for this ObamaCAre and just love it. They want everyone on board so everyone can get the massive benefits from it. They knew best when they approved of this law that covers everyone, including themselves.

So, it would be very bad constitutionally if our lawmakers make up their own laws, regulations, and preferred classes who are not bound by laws.

FF Gumballs, Democrats are all about different classes and races. They love dividing people up in to different groups. It helps to identify who to benefit and who to demonize. How can you have class warfare with out classes?

Obama’s Care is for those of us that do not know to take care of ourselves. The elite have to have some way to distinguish themselves from the know nothings they are taking care of. Exemption is a status symbol of the Elite class.

They have insurance through their employer. Why do they have to go through the exchanges?

  4. Millions of Americans used to have insurance through their employer, and lost it thanks to the ACA, a 100% Democrat piece of legislation. Tens of millions are at risk of the same. Why shouldn’t lawmakers have to do the same, and live under the law they passed, same as millions of others? Let themdeal with the same high cocosts and crummy networks, waiting lines, etc.
