Shutdown Theater: Gov’t Buys $47k Mechanical Bull

But, people aren’t allowed to enter monuments and parks which are open air and 24/7

(CNSNews.com) – The government shutdown may be keeping furloughed federal workers at home, but on Monday the U.S. Army contracted to buy a mechanical bull.

The $47,174 contract was awarded on Oct. 7 to Mechanical Bull Sales Inc. of State College, Penn.

According to the General Services Administration (GSA) listing, the National Guard of Utah made the request for a “bull which needs to be durable and low maintenance.”

I guess Nancy Pelosi is right, the cupboard is bare, we’ve cut everything.

The military was largely exempted from the Tea Party shutdown.

Why are the Republicans moving the goalpost? They started out repealing the ACA, now they’re talking about the deficit, tax reform, Social Security and Medicare.

The sequester and the shutdown have slowed the economy and cost jobs. We will collect less in taxes and pay out more in services, increasing the debt. Thanks, Tea Party for not even understanding the rudiments of our economy!!

Yes, the sequester led to a decrease in revenue to the Feds leading to an increase in debt. Right, John.

Who was the person responsible for 1/3 of our total $17Trillion debt in just last 5 years? Who was the one who wants to take over and control as much as 20% of our GDP in our Health Care?!

The Fed gov’t would have been funded completely at today’s level if Reid would have allowed a vote on the House bill. The fact that he didn’t, the House now has to put up the individual CR bills that The Senate has been forcing upon the American people over the last 6 years.

It is the Senate Socialists who have prevented any budget from being passed in the last 6 years Johnny. The only fault I place on GOP at this point is for allowing it to carry on for so long. They should have forced the Socialists to do their Constitutional mandated duty and negotiate and pass a budget. But, they caved and allowed CRs to be the norm.

The GOP, should have cut the funds of the CRs as their means of cutting the budgets of various departments.

    But, nice deflection again John.
