Domino’s Sues Over Contraception Mandate

Another patriot who won’t just lie down and let the Central Government Planning Office roll over him and his business

(Fox News) The founder of Domino’s Pizza is suing the federal government over mandatory contraception coverage in the health care law.

Tom Monaghan, a devout Roman Catholic, says contraception isn’t health care but a “gravely immoral” practice.

He filed a lawsuit Friday in federal court. It also lists as a plaintiff Domino’s Farms, a Michigan office park complex that Monaghan owns.

Monaghan offers health insurance that excludes contraception and abortion for employees. The new federal law requires employers to offer insurance including contraception coverage or risk fines.

Monaghan says the law violates his rights, and is asking a judge to strike down the mandate. There are similar lawsuits pending nationwide.

Expect more unhinged behavior from liberals who only like the freedom to choose when it comes to aborting babies.

    Go Dominos Go!!

Domino’s founder Tom Monaghan sold the company in 1998 and today has no active affiliation with our company. The media often neglect to note this fact. Domino’s Pizza has made no public statements about health care, as we are still waiting to see how the final rules will affect our network of small business owners. Domino’s is not a political company; it is not a religious company – we are a pizza company.

John, is that you again? Pretty funny stuff there.

BTW, yes, it does not say that he is suing the feds on behalf of dominos. It only mentions that he is the founder of dominos. So, please disregard my comment above.

But what is interesting…. Tom sold 93% of his company in 1998 to Bain Capital for 1 BILLION dollars!!!

So, once again we have 6 degrees of pizza bacon.
