With the presidential race tightening up in Virginia (it’s now dead even), the race card is played
(Examiner) The latest Democrat to make that charge is Virginia State Senator Louise Lucas, who accused presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney of catering to those who don’t like the President’s skin color, the Daily Caller reported Monday.
“What I’m saying to you is Mitt Romney, he’s speaking to a population of this —a segment of the population who does not like to see people other than a white man in the White House or in any other elected position,†she said on the John Fredericks Show Friday.
“Do you really believe now that this is still about race?†Fredericks asked.
“I absolutely believe it is all about race,†she responded.
I have to wonder if she really believes this, or is just playing the race card as a shiny distraction from Obama’s terrible record.
The answer has and always will be.. both. Democrats are racist, statist, and class-war defenders and promulgators. How else can they defend their sickly need to maintain power and control over their populace?
They always have to pull a shiny object campaign, because if they told people what they really wanted to do most Americans would run screaming.
