Bummer: You Sent Email And Killed Gaia

I wonder what the carbon footprint of the Obama administration campaign is? Anyhow, all you Warmists should stop emailing

Green groups around the world are turning to social networking to drive their campaign for Earth Hour tomorow, when lights are turned off for an hour to signal concern about global warming.

But here’s the irony. With every email, every tweet, every appeal watched on YouTube or “liked“ on Facebook, environmentalists are stoking the very problem they want to resolve.

In emails alone, the typical office worker is responsible for 13.6 tons of CO2 or its equivalent per year, a French government agency for energy efficiency, ADEME, calculated last year.

So, looks like not only do you hate to give up emailing, especially all those mass emails from liberal groups that you forward, but you need to give up you job. Hey, live the life.

But, but, but, if we send snail mail, all of those carbon-belching mail trucks will be out there, having to deliver what we send.

Dana.. hush. Logic hurts too much.

You know.. I’ve begun to wonder…. are any of these bits of info actually true? I mean, could these people really lie? I mean, could this info be under-exaggerated? Could we be using an entire coal-fired electric generation plant for each and every email?

I mean, how would we know? How do we know what they tell us isn’t true? I mean, they tell us they are, right? So, if they told us the real truth, then it would be true, right? I mean,, its on the internet… so… it must be true. Right?

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.. I said that on the internet.. thus, it must be true that each and every email uses a whole coal-fired electric plant.

    OMG….. WHAT HAVE I DONE??!?!?!

  3. No, Dana, see, from now on we have to use….hmm, does present a problem, eh? I guess we all have to walk to our neighbors like it was 1499. Funny how the Warmists always present problems, but, no answers.

You may have broken the Interwebz, GB.

And if we use snail mail, think of all the carbon dioxide consuming trees we’ll be killing!

  5. We could use sheep vellum instead. Or from cows, which would mean we’d need more animals, which is bad for Gaia.

Isn’t it strange that every Warmist problem brings more problems masked as solutions?
