RON PAUL!!!!! Calls Bradley Manning A “Hero” And “Patriot”

I’d really hoped to avoid posting much more if anything on RON PAUL2012!!!!!11!!!!! anytime soon, but, think how this would play on CBS Evening News during the general election time as we get the Ron Paul Quote Of The Day about Bradley Manning, on trial for treason for giving national security to Wikileaks (via Ace)

(Accuracy in Media) ……Paul has called Manning, a crossdresser with acknowledged mental problems, a “hero” and “patriot” for stealing government secrets and providing them to WikiLeaks.

However, speaking at a campaign rally, Paul said that while Manning may have “technically” broken the law against releasing classified information to WikiLeaks, he did so for the purpose of exposing the “horrible things” being carried out by the U.S. Government.

Referring to Manning’s detention before trial, Paul said, “Should he be locked up and imprisoned?” Manning should be seen as a “political hero” and “true patriot who reveals what’s going on,” Paul said.

Of course, the Paul supporters will say that is being taken “out of context”. Let me know how your defense works when tens of millions see Paul’s quotes on the network evening news, read it in the NY Times, Washington Post, etc. Good luck with that.

Why was an alleged mental cross dresser working for the US govt to begin with?? AND given enough clearance to obtain the information he leaked. That begs me to ask, how many more mental cross dressers are working for the government, and in WHAT positions are they in? Could it be possible these mentals are in congress? Could it be these mentals in government that promote undeclared wars of aggression and commit horrible atrocities in the “good name of the US”. Is it these mentals that allow the TSA to grope our women and children in the name of safety. Are these the mentals that send other peoples children to war to die or to kill and/or displace innocent civilians because of some “terrorist boogeymen”? Is it these mentals that are bringing our country to it’s knees while pissing off the whole world to boot? And who are the mentals who keep these guys in office?

If the machine of government is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then, I say, break the law.” Henry David Thoreau

  2. So, you’re blaming everyone but Manning in an attempt to protect Ron Paul? Good luck with this line of reasoning.

And who are the mentals who keep these guys in office?

The people that support Ron Paul.

I hope Ron Paul wins Iowa the GOP needs a rude shock.

Ron Paul is an absolute loon.

    True story bro.

  6. The Watcher says:

Oh, sure…let’s get THIS guy as our nominee… RIIIIIIIIGHT.

  7. Thanks for feeding this tumor on the neck of the GOP, paulbot cultists- if you hand Obama the keys again by going independent once this clown is brushed-aside by our party I’ll personally come out and wring every last one of your necks

    • Adobe Walls says:

I don’t want Paul to be the nominee I want him scare the GOP enough make them aware that Romney isn’t inevitable. If he is the nominee the GOP is toast.

This is the way I see the country shaking out. We do not have conservativs or liberals, we do not have Democrats or REpublicans. WE have progressive vs those who desire a return to freedom.

  9. gitarcarver says:

Adobe, are you really saying that you would vote for Obama over Romney?

With all of his faults, Romney is still better than Obama.

The problem is that people are saying that if their GOP guy doesn’t win the nomination, they won’t support or do anything for the GOP nominee.

Ron Paul is typical of that thinking. Like a spoiled brat, he will not commit to saying he would or would not run a third party campaign – a campaign which would hurt any GOP candidate.

Ultimately, Ron Paul is not a conservative, not a member of the GOP, and is a hypocritical as Obama.

    • Adobe Walls says:

If Romney is the nominee I will vote for him and probably for most of the Republicans on my ballot here in NC. I don’t think Renee Ellmers will have a primary opponent in May but if she does I would certainly look at voting for a more conservative Republican than Ellmers as I did in the 2010 primary.
I do not support Ron Paul in any sense of that term however I will not vote for Romney in the primary, my vote will go to one of the others even if that means Ron Paul. Obviously Huntsman’s belief in “Globull Warming” proves he is Clinically Insane so if my choice is between him and Romney I’ll write in Sarah Palin (something I may decide to do anyway).
Like many conservatives I am coming to the conclusion that the GOP is not now, has never been and will never be a conservative party.
Nominating Romney will prove that the party is utterly irredeemable. Almost as bad I remain unconvinced that Romney can beat Obama.
Nominating the guy who invented Obamacare is a circle that can never be squared even for moderate independents. Assuming the high court strikes down the national mandate, trying to convince independents that the state mandate is constitutional will not be anymore effective than the effort fairs with conservatives. His contrived federalism argument is catastrophically flawed.
If Romney is nominated win or loose many conservatives will abandon the GOP forever I’m one of them. There is a slim chance of saving this Republic even if one of the others is elected president. In my estimation the differences between the Moonbat left and humanity are too great to be bridged and are irreconcilable. Our choices are between experiencing another 1787 or if we must have another 1776 first.
