(Fox News) Atheist messages have displaced most of the Christmas nativity scenes that local churches had placed in a California park for nearly six decades, and the churches say it was a coordinated attack.
Local churches have traditionally claimed 14 of the 21 display spaces to illustrate the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
But atheists got all but three of the spaces this year because of a new lottery system.
I’ve said before that I do not have a problem with others being given a place to put their messages up on public land. If Christians are going to be allowed, so should others, whether Muslim, Jewish (who rarely bother for their religious holidays), Buddhist, Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or Atheists. Funny that the Atheists got the majority of the spaces, eh?
Of course, the Atheists are putting up respectful messages, right?
Two individuals got 18 spaces. One person can request a maximum of nine.

Last year, he put up a sign quoting Thomas Jefferson: “Religions are all alike — founded on fables and mythologies.” There were also selections on U.S. Supreme Court decisions about the importance of separating church and state.

So, instead of being respectful, the Atheists have to be obnoxious, rude, and disrespectful. They could have used the space to be nice, but, no, they have to annoy and insult Christians. So, we can expect them all to work on Christmas, right? They won’t go to the company Christmas party? Will refuse the holiday pay, and work a full week the week of the 25th?
Some institutionalization may be required.
Amazing how often that occurs to me nowadays.
California along with most of the rest of the country is becoming the modern day sodom. We must eliminate God from our lives and thoughts and replace it with a religion of its own.

Its the economy stupid and the (D)’s are going down. Hard.
They can appease their unions(SEVEN PERCENT of workers) or they can appease their gay, lesbian, Bisexual partners(7 percent of the voters)and they can appease the black voters by keeping them in perpetual poverty and then blaming it on the right(18 percent of the voters)
and when the day is done….35 percent of the country will vote for a (D) even if he is a clone of the worst politician ever….no matter what he says or does……they will vote for a (D) because they just cant stomach anything right of Mao/Che.
But the other 65 percent….they will decide and they can vote for anyone that is not a (D) and in 2012 I think the (D)’s are getting a huge wakeup call as the PROGRESSIVE/COMMIES have to once again go back into hiding.
OK, I can see atheists don’t believe. They have that right. But why is it so important to them that God not exist?
I will never understand evangelical atheism.
