(AP) …(transitional government leader Mustafa Abdul-Jalil) laid out a vision for the post-Gadhafi future with an Islamist tint, saying Islamic Sharia law would be the “basic source” of legislation and existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified. In a gesture that showed his own piety, he urged Libyans not to express their joy by firing guns in the air, but rather to chant “Allahu Akbar,” or God is Great. He then stepped aside from the podium and knelt to offer a brief prayer of thanks.
Obviously, liberals will write this off saying it’s no big deal, that there needs to be “diversity” and such. Perhaps some of them should go live in areas that operate under Sharia and see how great it is.
A comment at ESPN about Tim Tebow:
Again, you simple person. It’s not about wearing your faith or whatever other catchphrase you come up with. It’s about imposing your fairytale religion on other people and telling them they’re going to hell if you don’t join their church. Which is what Tebow does.
Yet these same people are just okay with Sharia law dominating nation after nation because these same people know that these people will come to your home and drag you and your family out into the street and behead you if you talk smack about their God and religion.
