Obama May Finally Send Trade Bills To Congress

Hey, remember this from back on August 25th?

Even with almost zero common ground between them, President Obama and Republicans in Congress generally concur on the need for free-trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia and Panama. But they disagree on whose fault it is that those agreements — years in the making — have still not been approved.

For weeks, President Obama has derided Congress for failing to pass the agreements, as well as a measure that would provide money to assist workers displaced by foreign competition. “The only thing preventing us from passing these bills is the refusal by some in Congress to put country ahead of party,” he said at a recent news conference.

Remember how Obama used his August 20th Weekly Address to whine about the GOP not passing his free trade bills (which the Washington Post’s fact checker found to be a lie)? Yeah, about that

President Barack Obama may send the long-delayed trade deals with South Korea, Colombia and Panama to Congress this week, according to new reports.

The three trade pacts could potentially boost U.S. exports by $13 billion annually, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. With the deals headed to Congress for consideration this week — sources told the paper Obama could forward the legislation as early as Monday — the three agreements could pass in mid-October after years of debate.

So, despite all his whining, they still hadn’t been sent over?

So today alone we see the stock market tanking, the debt going up by 1/10th of one trillion in a day, a huge American airline about to collapse, pictures of Obama with black militant racists, Obama’s signature car (Volt) in sales shambles, and an Obama Big Corporate green project (Nevada Geothermal Power) about to declare bankruptcy.

    And this is only today.
