Ouch. From a Rasmussen poll: 69% Say It’s Likely Scientists Have Falsified Global Warming Research (via Skeptics Corner)
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of American Adults shows that 69% say it’s at least somewhat likely that some scientists have falsified research data in order to support their own theories and beliefs, including 40% who say this is Very Likely. Twenty-two percent (22%) don’t think it’s likely some scientists have falsified global warming data, including just six percent (6%) say it’s Not At All Likely. Another 10% are undecided. The number of adults who say it’s likely scientists have falsified data is up 10 points from December 2009 .
Obviously, the Believers will say “but, that’s just politics. That’s not science! We need to spread some more awareness, maybe hold some more conferences, rally the troops, hold some more seminars.” What they won’t say is “we’ll provide people with rock solid scientific facts, along with short term predictions that prove we are right.” Nor will they actually, you know, practice what they preach.
I have to say that I have always advocated for recycling. Smog control. Pollution management. Stewardship of the planet.
I do not think that even co2 scrubbing is a bad thing.
I look forward to my first electric car and have 2 windmills on my own property which generates my entire electrical needs and even sells some back to the power company.
I am looking to add a third windmill and researching solar panels. I have acreage.
That all being said….AGW is a scam to extort money from industrialized nations as well as a power grab by the UN in order to find relevance.
I say manage the planet. Find everyway possible to recycle and reclaim and renew. But AGW is just a scam. Always has been and people are now starting to realize that its nothing but a power play by the socialists who are impotent and want what they dont have.
Its simply a way to change who has and who has not. They dont have and they want……what better way then to SCARE UP A CRISIS to get mankind hoodwinked and bamboozled.

I have to totally agree with you on all those environmental issues. They need to be addressed, and we could have dealt with them if the alarmists hadn’t decided to pretend to like them in order to push their religion.
