Shocker! Tracking “Climate Change (Hoax)” Money Proves Difficult

Like the issue itself, the money given away seems to be difficult to pin down into real solutions

In the 2009 Copenhagen climate accord, 21 developed nations and the European Union agreed to provide $30 billion over three years to help poorer nations adapt to climate change and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.

But nearly two years later, tracking these “fast start” pledges — and what specific programs the funds have been used for — has proved difficult, according to a new report from the World Resources Institute.

The WRI report concludes that “most developed countries are making tentative progress toward delivering” pledged funds. But the group urged more detailed reporting of how the funds were being spent.

The nonprofit environmental group warns that a continued lack of transparency from the developed nations will hurt the chances for a deeper global climate agreement.

Basically, this is a big ponzi scheme to transfer wealth from developed countries to 3rd world shitholes, er, developing countries, and get them to….do something, and, similar to the supposed data that proves anthropogenic global warming, the recipient countries do not want to show what they are doing with the money.

And, no one in power can see this….
On either side of the aisle.
Very sad state of our country when grist, bribery, palming, pocket-lining, vote-bribing, etc… are now considered so commonplace that no one bothers to root it out.

People cited for extortion, money laundering, tax evasion, vote-buying, are given a pass even by the Congress’ Ethics Committees.

It wasn’t Socialism that screwed up our country first. It was the criminals in power that sucked on Socialism’s teat and increased its size, thus increasing their criminal take, that is killing our country.

    Background
Coral reefs around the world are experiencing large-scale degradation, largely due to global climate change, overfishing, diseases and eutrophication. Climate change models suggest increasing frequency and severity of warming-induced coral bleaching events

    … then..

    Methodology/Principal Findings
In 2006, mass bleaching of corals on inshore reefs of the Great Barrier Reef caused high coral mortality. Here we show that this coral mortality was followed by an unprecedented bloom of a single species of unpalatable seaweed (Lobophora variegata), colonizing dead coral skeletons, but that corals on these reefs recovered dramatically, in less than a year.

Unexpectedly, this rapid reversal did not involve reestablishment of corals by recruitment of coral larvae, as often assumed, but depended on several ecological mechanisms previously underestimated.

    Conclusions/Significance
These mechanisms of ecological recovery included rapid regeneration rates of remnant coral tissue, very high competitive ability of the corals allowing them to out-compete the seaweed, a natural seasonal decline in the particular species of dominant seaweed, and an effective marine protected area system.

Our study provides a key example of the doom and boom of a highly resilient reef, and new insights into the variability and mechanisms of reef resilience under rapid climate change.

So, which is it? massive die offs and bleaching due to global warming or a natural cycle of life and death?
