Goracle Pops His Head Up, Declares Cold And Snow All Part Of AGW

From Gore’s man cave, which features multiple computer monitors, a TV he’s not watching, lots of electronics he isn’t using but are turned on, and lots of paper from the killing of trees, Gore has an answer to Bill O’Reilly

AL Gore's OfficeLast week on his show Bill O’Reilly asked, “Why has southern New York turned into the tundra?” and then said he had a call into me. I appreciate the question.

So, rather than call Bill, or come on the show and have to, you know, actually debate (something Gore refuses to do), Al wrote a short blog post

As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming:

“In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.”

“A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”

As Dr. Ryan N. Maue writes at Watts Up With That?

….who does he cite?  Clarence Page at the Chicago Tribune, not a climate scientist but someone self-described as having a scientific education commensurate with the old “Watch Mr. Wizard” TV show and a subscription to “Popular Mechanics”.  This is lame to say the least.

Dr. Maue also asks Gore to pony up all the research, papers, and such that prove all this is the fault of anthropogenic global warming, rather than the natural cycles of the Earth.

And then Al goes on to write…..wait, that’s it? That’s the preponderance of his evidence? No wonder he doesn’t want to actually talk to O’Reilly in person.

Meanwhile, Dr. Roy Spencer ripped Gore a few days ago, and isn’t sure if he should hate him, or thank him for providing material to write about. And good news! Shrinking snow cover causes record snow cover. And, hey, isn’t it great to exclude a 6 year old from a stuffed toy drawing in kindergarten because he had a *GASP* plastic sandwich bag?

Crazy stuff. Just back in 2003ish, they were saying that snow would become a thing of the past that we’d have to tell our grandkids about, because it would be so rare. Now we are to believe that it’s an integral part of AGW. Ya know what, I have about had it with the double speak, misuse of information and skewing of facts from these no nothing agenda driven, people hating, self centered elitists. So, why don’t these folks all go f themselves.
