Will GOP Go After EPA And Lisa Jackson?

Yet again, the phrase “in-kind campaign contribution” comes to mind in this obvious attempt by The Politico to get liberals out to vote Democrat by highlighting a potential assault on one of the climate alarmists favorite agencies. I blame global climate disruption for Lisa Jackson’s coming problems

Congressional Republicans planning an assault on the Obama administration’s environmental record aim to turn Lisa Jackson into public enemy No. 1.

On the campaign trail, Republicans have adopted the Environmental Protection Agency as a favorite symbol of the White House’s regulatory overreach. And behind the scenes in Washington, GOP staffers and K Street lobbyists who say they’ve been dissed by the EPA administrator are looking forward to getting some revenge.

Uh huh. It couldn’t be because the EPA under Lisa Jackson has attempted to place burdensome and damaging regulations that reduce greenhouse gases on the States, which would mean higher energy and business costs, and cost jobs, could it? Or that Lisa has pushed regulations that go beyond the EPA’s legislative mandate? Or that Democrats, and the public, are against what Lisa Jackson is doing, as well?

With Democrats holding the reins in Congress, and White House energy and climate adviser Carol Browner taking many of the arrows from the GOP, Jackson has had enough of a political buffer zone to issue some of the strictest environmental rules in history. Republicans have decried the EPA at each step along the way but have been unable to do much about it.

Except, they aren’t environmental, they are climate alarmist.

Energy and Commerce won’t be the only panel on Jackson’s dance card: Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said he wants to use the Oversight and Government Reform Committee to lead a probe into the science underpinning the EPA’s climate regulations. And Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.) hopes to keep the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming alive so he can examine the administration’s climate and energy policies.

Climate alarmists will not like the coming hearings, as they will expose the junk science behind globull warming, and the true agenda of the alarmists, which is control.

What, you mean real science will finally have a chance to be heard in the field of science?

    SHOCKA!!!

I just don’t see why they just don’t try and defund the EPA regulative abilities.

Actually, there are quite a few offices and departments in Gubment that need to be disbanded ASAP!!

  2. I don’t know. The EPA does serve a good purpose, it’s just that it is run by and staffed by enviro-wackos.
