The New Mexico National Guard has deployed 82 troops along the border with Mexico to increase surveillance.

troops are not allowed to enforce laws in the USA except under special circumstances. If Obama declared martial law the right would have a hissy fit, well I mean a bigger hissy fit

I would be perfectly OK with them declaring the southern half of California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas under Martial Law.
We are at war after all. We are under attack after all. We have been and are being invaded on daily basis.
