How’s That Hope And Unemployment Working Out, Millennials?

Hey, just remember, the policies of the Messiah most of you voted for are keeping unemployment high for the long term

They are perhaps the best-educated generation ever, but they can’t find jobs. Many face staggering college loans and have moved back in with their parents. Even worse, their difficulty in getting careers launched could set them back financially for years.

The Millennials, broadly defined as those born in the 1980s and ’90s, are the first generation of American workers since World War II who have cloudier prospects than the generations that preceded them.

Certainly the recession has hurt young workers badly. While the overall unemployment rate was 9.5 percent in June, it was 15.3 percent for those aged 20 to 24, compared with 7.8 percent for ages 35-44, 7.5 percent for ages 45-54 and 6.9 percent for those 55 and older.

Feeling hopey/changey yet? And all this long term unemployment, along with having to take jobs they are “overqualified” for, will apparently scare them mentally for life. But, hey, Obama’s Generational Theft Act can put you to work paving roads and painting bridges!

most Americans still blame Bush for the state of the American economy. .http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-07-15/americans-blame-bush-for-deficit-afghanistan-war-jobless-more-than-obama.html
It is going to take a looooong time for the majority of Americans to forgive/forget Bush
Certainly the “milleniums” still blame Bush’s 8 years rather rhan Obama

Of course they will believe it, because the liberals in government, along with the liberal media, have rammed that message so far down their throats, these kids can’t even fathom the fact that it IS NOT BUSH’s fault anymore!

  3. Reasic says:

lol, Trish. Because fault is like a baton. It can be passed around. It doesn’t matter when the problem originated or why. What matters is who is currently in charge.

I find fault with the astounding statement that this generation is the best-educated.

Seriously? OMG. Nearly half this country does not think there is a Constitution that formed the basis of our Republic. Others, believe a right to a home and health care is a right defined in the Bill of Rights.

And nearly all of this “best educated” generation can’t even tally correct change at the best fast food chains (let alone get the order right).
