G20: “Green Energy? What Green Energy?”

Perhaps some of the world leaders are finally getting the clue that green and clean energy is just not at a point where it is economically and realistically feasible (don’t misunderstand, I would personally like it to be there). And that fewer and fewer people are buying into globull warming

The leaders of the world’s 20 most powerful developed and developing states (G20) on Sunday dropped a pledge to invest in climate-friendly energy generation from their final summit statement.

Climate change topped the world agenda last year, but was eclipsed after the relative failure of a massive summit in Copenhagen in December. The G20’s decision further tones down international pledges to invest in the fight against global warming.

Environment group WWF reacted angrily to the omission.

“They went through this document with a vacuum cleaner to remove any reference to clean energy. In the Pittsburgh G20 summit (in September 2009), there were 8 references to ‘clean energy’ – in this one, there is zero,” WWF climate expert Kim Carstensen said.

The problem is, the envirowackos want this done for the wrong reasons. Unhinged reasons based on a fanciful and fake issue. Perhaps if the WWF spent more of their own money investing in companies and ideas to create long term, realistic, and economically viable alternatives instead of press releases and lawsuits……

soo does this mean that now you are against the Cape Wind Energy Farm ?

    • Hell, no, John, I am all for it. I am all for alternative energy sources. They are great, and are the future. But, they have to be done correctly, and should ignore silly climate change BS.

Does this mean you can’t read?

Geez, Ryan, what about the story don’t you get? I can’t figure out how you come up with that comment other than just continuing to prove that you are a troll.

This from a guy who doesn’t understand the meaning of the word “and”. I wouldn’t take any charges of illiteracy from him too seriously. Get back to that business you’re so proud of, GC. I don’t think books are for you anyway.

    Otter- another literary genius.

    Idiots.

You don’t have to take anything I say seriously. Your reaction to it says it is hitting home though.

Another poor attempt at an insult from you. Typical. Can’t discuss the facts so you insult people.
