Too Much Fun And Rules Be Damned Saturday Open Post

Oh, boy oh boy oh boy. Sometimes there is just way to many good stories to capture the attention. Which one to write about for the second post of the day? Just cannot decide. It’s Saturday. Saturdays are not for deciding, though, general blog rules say to stick with one subject per post. Rules be damned! A general mishmash, starting with your marriage, so, take note

Married men be warned: Don’t enjoy yourself too much.

Research shows that if you’re happier than your wife, you could soon be heading for the divorce courts.

Economists have identified a phenomenon called the ‘Happiness Gap’, which states that the bigger the difference between spouses’ satisfaction levels, the greater the risk of a break-up.

‘Sploding!

A man whom the U.S. described as a key figure in Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula accidentally blew himself up, U.S. military officials told Fox News.

The officials say Nayif Al-Qahtani was “messing with a bomb” when it went off. U.S. officials had been watching him, but Fox News’ sources insist the U.S. had nothing to do with his death.

A film to be missed, and ignored when it goes virtually straight to video, to gather dust on the shelves

A beautiful blonde, the CIA and America’s lies about Iraq

The story of Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson sounds like a film, and now it is

And how about that pesky Constitution thing?

The U.S. Constitution has become a popular document to read in Washington and beyond, thanks in part to the rise of the Tea Party movement, The Hill reports.

The pocket edition, which also includes the Declaration of Independence, shot up to 10th in March among top sellers at the Government Printing Office, the Washington-based publication said.

Despite the fact that people can, you know, grab them all off the Internet for free, it is nice to see people taking a big interest in the guiding documents and highest law of our land.

And, since it is Caturday, I’m going to have to do what Nice Deb was doing (she also has a great post about Mexico President Calderone), and add in a cat!

What with the left trying to claim that you cannot trust information off the internet, I’d rather have the book on hand. Besides which, if the Idiot you are arguing with refuses to even acknowledge the information you just quoted out of the book, it will be much easier to slap them with the book, than with a laptop. Less expensive, too.
