ObaSocialist Care Is “Just Like Christmas”

Gotta love this one that is making the rounds, saw it this morning after I had already written a few posts for the day and was checking the local news. Exemplifies the entitlement mentality of the Left perfectly

Uninsured Triangle residents said Monday that they eagerly await the overhaul of the nation’s health care system.

“It’s just going to be like Christmas,” said DeCarlo Flythe, who lost health coverage for his family when he was laid off almost three years ago. “It’s going to be great. You know, no worries (about) the bills. We are going to go ahead and pay our co-pay and be alright.”

Daddy Government will take care of us all! So long, Freedom!

Warner Todd Huston has more.

Maybe I’ll stop running across health stories and can write about something else at some point today.

  1. […] notes PIMCO saying the same.  Will the US population be content, or rebellious? UPDATE:  Pirate’s Cove has one answer for why pyramid schemes continue to work and people keep playing … definitely not rebellion here Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)Jobs, Jobs, Jo-… […]

I was just wondering if this is the same idiot who said that now that Obi won she didn’t have to pay her mortgage, or car payments anymore because Obi was going to wave his majic wand and pay everything for her. So how’s that working out for ya sweatheart??

Here is a better question: Why has this person been out of work for the past three years? Sounds like he was doing fine until he lost his job. If Barry would have focused on nurturing a decent business environment in this country I don’t believe this person would be having a problem. Give people jobs and their businesses an opportunity to make money and they will provide insurance to their employees. Or do you think DeCarlo wants the government to just give him some free money for sitting on his duff too?

  5. It’s started already. Had a woman walk into the office and ask for free bloodwork and some other tests. She was not a patient. The office manager asked her who sent her and the woman replied that no one had. She merely stated that the President had said preventative medicine was now free and she wanted some tests.

  6. The saddest part is that all of this is going to grow. Unless we can either repeal and replace or at least defund the whole thing.
