Barry Claims His Plan Would Bring Down Premiums By 3,000%

No, that is not a typo in the headline. I seriously doubt that The Smartest Man In The World Ever!!!!!! meant to say 3,000. I Blame Bush. Or Secretary Teleprompter. Just image had Bush made this claim, even by accident

Now, so let me talk about the third thing, which is my proposal would bring down the cost of health care for families, for businesses, and for the federal government.

So Americans buying comparable coverage to what they have today — I already said this — would see premiums fall by 14 to 20 percent — that’s not my numbers, that’s what the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says — for Americans who get their insurance through the workplace.

How many people are getting insurance through their jobs right now?

Raise your hands.

All right. Well, a lot of those folks, your employer it’s estimated would see premiums fall by as much as 3,000 percent [sic], which means they could give you a raise.

(Applause.)

And probably quite a few people giving those types of tentative claps accompanied by the thought “WTF did he just say?”

Also, I wonder if The Smartest Man In The World Ever!!!!!! understands the difference in the cost of health care and health insurance. Based on that little exchange, I’d say not.

you know what that little “sic” means? Wow, this is another great example of Obama Derangement Syndrome. You complained night and day about BDS for years, and now you nitpick every little thing you can about Obama, whether it’s substantive or not. Congratulations on being an enormous hypocrite.

Oh, please! If this was a Bushism, it would be plastered all over the media and fodder for the late night shows (Leno, Letterman, etc.) for at least a week if not more.

I believe what teach is pointing out more than anything is the lack of consistency in the media, which isn’t so much Barry’s fault as it is the reluctance of the media. Face it, the majority of media outlets get a warm tingle down their leg when Obama mugs for the camera.

Then again, you could always just blame Bush for making them numb to the gaffs. At least that way you still have Bush to kick around.

Bushisms were funny. Obama said “percent” instead of “dollars”. What’s funny about that? Bush said:

“fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.”

“Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”

“Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?”

    “They misunderestimated me.”

Now that’s funny. Do you see the difference? There’s a difference between misspeaking and making up words or screwing up cliches.

Well, I suppose humor is subjective, because I laugh my a$$ off when Barry (the supposed greatest orator of a generation) misspeaks. Now that is funny.

    You mean like….

    Inventing states?

“I’ve now been in 57 states, I think, one left to go.”

    Inventing languages?

“”It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There’s a lot of — I don’t know what the term is in Austrian…”

Inventing a new meaning for Memorial Day?

“On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.”

Mispronouncing “corpsman” not once, not twice, but three times?

Some of the things Bush said were funny. The mis-pronunciation of “nuclear,” for example, was deliberate and showed how foolish he was able to make those who hated him appear.

We all mispronounce things sometimes, but clearly Bush was held to a higher standard than Obama.
