Kabul, Afghanistan – Fourteen suspected terrorists died Tuesday night when the bus they rigged with explosives blew up prematurely, police said. The explosion occurred as the suspects were riding the bus in the province of Kunduz, said police chief Abdul Raziq Yaqobi.
Yaqobi said the suspects wanted to attack Afghan police or foreign soldiers.
Do they get their 72 virgins if they prematurely ‘splode themselves? Hey, here’s a thought: maybe those who fail in jihad are the virgins for those who succeed. (BTW, how are they “suspected?”)
Meanwhile, a majority of people think California should be left to fail
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows just 27% of voters nationwide believe the federal government should provide bailout funding for California. Fifty-five percent (55%) think the federal government should let the state go bankrupt instead. Seventeen percent (17%) are not sure.
