It’s no wonder more and more people are running away from the insanity of anthropogenic global warming, when we get insane stories like this
Climate change continues to wreck havoc in Peru’s southern Altiplano, where the arrival of freezing temperatures since March — almost three months earlier than usual — have killed at least 20,000 alpaca, reported Peru’s National Agriculture and Sanitation Service, or Senasa.
Since January, approximately 20,000 alpaca – a number that still remains within normal limits – have died, and 73,000 others have suffered from various illnesses due to the cold, said Senasa Director Reinaldo Llano Flores.
Of course, we all remember that the hardcore Disciples of Gore had to switch from using “global warming” to “climate change” in order to use events such as the above to push their theory hypothesis feeling that it is Mankind causing all the warming that has occured since the end of the Little Ice Age. Or, is it from the beginning of the 20th Century? Or, since the 50’s? Since 1980? Who knows, it just depends on how they are trying to invent a way to blame some event on Mankind.
Anyhow, so they have to use the term climate change to say that global warming is causing it to get so cold that alpacas are dying in large numbers.
Oh, btw, did you notice that the cold started three months early? Hmm, must be all the SUVs in mountains.
In related stupid, apparently, Mankinds use of SUVs is going to change the tilt of the Earth. And increase the spin. The tilt is constantly changing, and, by constant, I mean by the standards of the life of the Earth, not the life of people. Hmmm.
The Earth’s axial tilt varies between 22.1° and 24.5° (but see below), with a 42,000 year period, and at present, the tilt is decreasing. In addition to this steady decrease, there are also much smaller short term (18.6 years) variations, that is also affected by Sun’s gravitation in its depleting angle relative to Earth’s, known as nutation.
But, the Climahysterics will say “see? The tilt changed. It MUST be AGW.” Just like they do with the current warm period. Despite happening again and again and again over the life of the Earth, THIS warming period must be because of Mankind. Sigh.
Yes, Teach SOME people on both sides do say stupid things. Some people deny the fact that the earth IS getting warmer. Some people point out things like local weather anomalies and use it to bolster their argument that the earth is getting either warmer or cooler. Like saying “oh look ! It snowed here and it usually doesn’t that PROVES that I am right” Teach Of course there are many reasons that the climate has changed over the last 4 million years. BUT trying to blame the increase in remps that we are now seeing on something that has a 40,0000 year cycle is a bit lame. We are seeing a very rapid increase.
