Interestingly, that is almost the same language that the DHS report used, calling those who are anti-abortion right wing extremists, simply for being against abortion on demand. It’s also the same type of language that the pro-abortion folks use to attempt to paint those who are against baby killing as “outside the mainstream.”
Not one of these people uttered a word of protest when Notre Dame University tried to bring radical Islamist Tariq Ramadan to the school, to make him chairman of the Joan B. Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.

LGF is really having a bad week, 1st the DHS memo was withdrawn which Icarus really defended. Now the myth that social conservatism is hurting the GOP has been exposed as a lie. I wonder how the “progressives†at LGF will spin this? They probably will ignore it since it shatters their beliefs..
What happened to LGF? It seems that Charles and Co. used to be a pretty good read, but it does seem that he’s gone off into the gutter, especially when the subject of creationsim vs. darwinism is concerned. I think he is just showing his true colors, Duncan. He is basically a progressive who earned his stripes in the conservative side of the Internet by be very anti-Islamic extremist. Obviously, it’s his blog, and he can do what he wants, but, damn, he has gotten out of control with his nasty comments towards others and his bannings. One must toe the line, or risk his wrath.
Muslim fanatics are also against any disagreement with the official line, John, and get nasty for it. Rather like liberals/progressives.
I started reading LGF back in late 1999 or early 2000. I don’t know why I wandered over there (probably saw him on the Puppy-blender’s blogroll) but despite him being center-left to my libertarian-crypto-conservative, he has always been pro-Israel. I try giving him the benefit of doubt, but truth be told, I really don’t visit him much anymore because it is usually him on his bully-pulpit railing against creationists and ID-ers, which gets boring fast.
There is even more evolution and stuff again today.
