So, I was having a discussion over at Blogs For Victory regarding Obama the Divider, and was told that Bush was a disaster on the international stage, while Obama has been a success. Oh, really? Let’s check the score card for Obama
- Getting NATO allies to help out in Afghanistan? Fail.
- Both Merkel and Sarkozy told him to stick it regarding the issue of how to fix the world wide economic problems.
- He gaffed badly with Gordon Brown, the British press, the british people, and managed to imply that the Brits were just plain old allies, nothing special.
- He had his silly “give the Queen an iPod with Obama memento’s” moment
- He bowed to the King of Saud
- He threw Poland and the proposed missile shield under the bus, and then Russia told him to take a hike
- He has ignored the N. Korean missile launch.
- His Sec of State told China not to worry about that pesky human rights problem.
- He lost our air base in Kyrgyzstan
- He has criticized Hamid Karzai multiple times, and his admin leaked info about possibly expanding air strikes in other areas of Pakistan, embarrassing the Pakistani leadership.
- He reached out with that cute video to Iran, which turned around and told him where to shove it.
- Cuba told him to piss off. Hugo Chavez said Obama had a stench like Bush, and called Obama an ignoramus.
- He insulted the leader of Brazil.
- Russia floated the notion of basing bombers in Cuba. No response from the B.O. admin.
- He slighted the nation of India.
- He completely ducked the issue of the Armenian genocide while in Turkey, despite complaining about it for years.
- Discussed making peace with the “moderate Taliban.” Like there are any
- Thought it was a great idea for Pakistan to make peace overtures to the Taliban.
- The “reset” button fiasco
- Joe Biden thanking Spain for all their help in Iraq
- Sending the bust of Winston Churchill back to Britain in the first couple days
And we aren’t even at day 75 yet. Am I leaving anything big out? I know of a few minor ones, such as James Hansen (a federal employee who works for NASA, meaning Obama) writing a snotty letter that insulted Australia for their coal plants.

Contrary to left-wing myths, I wasn’t a fan of the Bush administration. (I called for Donald Rumsfeld to get the boot in mid-2001.) But fair’s fair. Despite his many faults, Bush sought to do good. Obama just wants to look good.
He breaks down the Big O’s foreign policy blunders along some of the same lines I did (he did it first, but, I did read this after I wrote the above comment) and nails it perfectly: Obama just wants to look good for the world, which is why he calls America arrogant and sucks up to our enemies.
Well, at least he hasn’t declared war on Antarctica when he never got a response from its ambassador yet.
More: apparently, President Neophyte managed to annoy the heck out of the European Union, especially many German leaders as well as Sarkozy, with all his dictating to them that Turkey should be brought in to the EU.
Wow. For someone who constantly complained about BDS, you sure are trying your best to chip and hack at Obama’s every step. I guess we now have ODS.

Reasic, a substantive discourse on Obama’s policies and what he has done in office is not ODS. Now, if I was constantly making fun of his big old ears, the way he dresses, the way he walks, you know, all the personal things, hoping he gets hurt, dies, etc, now that would be ODS.
I think we are looking at a #1 and a #4, MBP.
Teach most Americans think that Obama is doing a good job. Quite frankly NO ONE cares what kind of a gift the Queen got. The missile shield ? Not gonna happen the Czechs through their government out just for thinking about it. He bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia ? Bush kissed him on the lips dressed in a skirt and walked hand in hand with him. Bush lost our air base in Kyrgyzstan it was announced 2 weeks after Obama became POTUS The lease had been over for months. He has been critical of Karzai ?? Karzai is the mayor of Kabul he is our puppet with about zero power in the country. The real power is in the regional warlords. Karzai wanted to legalize rape for Shia. Teach you do have ODS remember most Americans think he is doing well under BAD conditions inherited from Bush Americans think that things are getting better and will continue to do so. HAnsen worked for Bush a lot longer than he has for Obama hasn’t he ? Oh and Teach tell us more about the immenient threat of GLOBAL COOLING
