A Saudi judge has ordered a woman should be jailed for a year and receive 100 lashes after she was gang-raped, it was claimed last night.
The 23-year-old woman, who became pregnant after her ordeal, was reportedly assaulted after accepting a lift from a man.
He took her to a house to the east of the city of Jeddah where she was attacked by him and four of his friends throughout the night.
She is still pregnant and will be flogged once she has had the child.
Yet, the left rarely complains about what the RoP does, instead focusing on their hatred of Jews and Christians. Hell, these Muslims are so nuts that they sentenced a man to 30 lashes for smoking on an airplane. And I am not seeing groups like Amnesty International bother with this kind of barbarity.
Saying that the left “rarely complains” is simply NOT true. The liberal left has ALWAYS spoken out against such things. It has always been the right wing who has overlooked such things claiming that the ultra conservative regimes were our friends and allies in the GWOT.
Of course being a conservative country also means that the woman will be forced to carry the baby to term with no option of aborting the fetus. The hard right wing seldom wants to be too critical of our allies in the GWOT. Sometimes the rightwing seems to be more concerned with the father’s rights (or in this case the right’s of the rapists) to force a woman to carry the baby
Well, would you care to point out where the left is complaining about this? Sure, it happens a little, but, like yourself, they tend to complain about Christianity.
And, BTW, just because you call Iran conservative doesn’t mean they really are, nor is there any comparison between US conservatives, and little comparison to European Conservatives. Crack a political theory book.
