Getting Nutty And Hysterical On Illegal Immigration

Woah! In a typical bleeding heart liberal rant, typical meaning overblown and divorced from reality, Anne Denogean at the Tuscan Citizen loses it

Illegal immigrants have become the nation’s favorite whipping boy, blamed for everything from causing the collapse of the medical system to botching our orders at the fast food drive-through because of their poor English skills.

First paragraph, and has already lost it. That is not what they are blamed for, and, does Anne miss the part where they are breaking federal law?

One popular pundit even charges illegal immigrants with threatening the health of Americans by bringing leprosy into the country.

That’s a new one. Care to name the pundit, Anne? No? You made it up?

You see, these tired and huddled masses have the audacity to come to our country to make better lives for themselves. Those better lives includes modern conveniences that increase the total carbon dioxide emissions attributable to one person, such as traveling by car or bus, cooking with electricity or gas, dining on imported food and starting the day with a hot shower.

If they want to make better lives for themselves, perhaps they could have done it the right way, ie, legally. Perhaps they could take the time to learn to converse with the citizens of the USA, and not seclude themselves away in their own communities with their own Spanish only stores. And, perhaps they could stop polluting the areas they cross the border at. And stop killing, raping, robbing, and attempting to kill American citizens. And not join gangs.

Stuff like The Law tends to be lost on bleeding hearts. Except for the abortion on demand laws, which must be sanctified and written on stone tablets.

One thing I suggest is going to the Tucson Citizen, register, and ask her who said the leprosy thing.
