Global Warming Today: Gore’s Tre’ Cool Carbon Burning House

Ladies and gentleman, give a big hand to Mr. Hypocrite, Al Gore!

Randy Hall, CNS News – Gore’s Mansion Uses More Energy After ‘Going Green’

In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy efficient, the power use at the former vice president’s house has increased more than 10 percent, a nonprofit research group reported Tuesday.

“A man’s commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home,” said Drew Johnson, president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, in a news release. “Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.”

Using data obtained through a public records request to the Nashville Electric Service, the Center determined that during the past year, Gore’s mansion in the Belle Meade area of Nashville used 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.

As Kevin Kline says in “A Fish Called Wanda” (which features a few Monty Python players!) “what was that middle thing?” Heh

I think Gore has joined the above!

But you forget, the Gore-acle purchases carbon credits (*cough* from himself *cough*), so it all evens out.

Gore’s really padding his pockets with this flim-flam scam….he’s a modern day snake oil salesman.

  3. John Ryan says:

Teach you really make it too easy !!

#1 His house is also his office and it also has an extra guest house as well as special security provisions which judging by the hate for him that I see regularly posted he well needs
#2 He buys all of his electricity (at an increased price) from renewable sources. this has increased his personal bill by about 50%. He is in fact investing in this new technology
#3 His house has received the second highest award from the US Green Building Council. Short of tearing down the house it could not be made more efficent.
#4 The house used to be heated by gas, Gore has reduced this by 90% (and the carbon footprint that goes with it) by now heating/cooling with an electric powered heat pump (and remember his electicity comes from green renewable sources

Again I go back to the “chickenhawk” argument. Has Gore reduced his own personal carbon footprint ? I think that he has.

Don’t fergit the bathrooms big enuff to play baseball in!

Could someone point out the facts to the kids AGAIN the definitions of what’s thought to be green?

Methane is part of that. Solar and wind are great when it’s windy and the sun shines but, the sun is the main reason for this latest hysterical nattering about the infinitesimal GW (or what ever they changed it to this week), when does logic have it’s say?).

I guess when the Gorcle gets done showing the Ryans of the world the how’s and why’s, he’ll take Kuncinich and use their Vroom Vroom machine to sort out Pluto and Mars’s warming.

About the only thing closer to zero as far as mans impact on the earths environment, is the Pelossi-class stupid mentality required to swallow the snake oil from the sales specialist. Maybe they can crawl up into the Gorcle’s lap, at least until the shaking stops.

  5. This is why Gore will never run for office again, because he would have to explain why his insane theories are financially benefitting himself.
