Perhaps it is time to consider that the climate is changing from one of warming to one of cooling
Severe snow disasters have left 1.65 million people snowblind and frostbitten, 500,000 livestock and wildlife dead and 3.1 million others on verge of starvation in Tibetan prefectures of northwestern Qinghai Province.
Since October last year, consecutive low temperature had gripped the province. The temperature plunged to minus 36.3 degrees centigrade, the record lowest in January in the province, said the provincial meteorological bureau.
Nope, nope, sorry, cold can only be caused by weather. When it is hot, it is climate.
So, I wonder, would a return to the cooler temps like during the Little Ice Age be preferred? Would it be better to have more fresh water locked up in ice, leading to drought? Shorter growing seasons? Smaller agricultural areas?
(CBS News) It has almost become something of a joke when some “global warming†conference has to be cancelled because of a snowstorm or bitterly cold weather.
But stampedes and hysteria are no joke – and creating stampedes and hysteria has become a major activity of those hyping a global-warming “crisis.â€
They mobilize like-minded people from a variety of occupations, call them all “scientists†and then claim that “all†the experts agree on a global-warming crisis.
Their biggest argument is that there is no argument.
Then they want you to prove that Man is not at fault, despite 4 billion years of history.
Teach, nobody denies the greenhouse effect and there is not even a lot of controversy over temperature readings. The IPCC has clearly examined the historical record and the natural processes currently taking place. You can look at the IPCC’s Fourth Assessment Report and see the actual numbers for yourself. Why is it that you never post any scientific studies that show the numbers from natural causes that would account for the current warming trend? How can you possibly form an opinion about something like this without one shred of scientific evidence? Not one report. Not one study. Why?
Several weeks ago, Rush Limbaugh read from a documented list from a website of things blamed on global warming. According to Limbaugh, each item on the list had a link to whatever article, expert, etc. that made the claim. There was so many ridiculous items on the list (“increased teen pregnancy” for example) as well as contradictory items on the list (such as “increased snowfall” as well as “decreased snowfall” both on the list) that were blamed on global warming that is would have been funny but those deluded and delusional individuals making the claims are serious.
