No Fly List: 7 Year Old Nailed 3 Times

Interesting

Michael Martin went through a hassle trying to fly out of Fort Lauderdale recently because his name was on a no-fly list. Rather than protest to authorities, he nervously turned to his mom for comfort.

"He thought he did something wrong," his mother, Krista Martin, 36, of Coral Springs, said.

Michael Martin is only 7 years old, a typical youngster who enjoys skateboarding and playing drums. Because he shares a name with a known or suspected terrorist, he has run into roadblocks three times before boarding an airliner, Krista Martin said.

Now, I got this story from not only the forum I frequent, but over at the DU, as well. Sorry, no link, I give them enought, and there were only a few whiners there, anyhow. My first thought is, this kind of crap would not happen if the same libs, such as the ACLU, who whine about people being wrongly placed, even by accident, on no fly lists, would simply allow us to profile those who are the real danger, ie, Muslim men, and some women, then we would not have to worry about Grandma from Witchita getting strip searched because of the metal wire in her bra. Or, a 7 year old who likes skateboarding.

Second, it’s funny how liberals want the same government, which screws up like this no matter which Party is in control of the White House, Congress, and/or Supreme Court (hell, let’s drill all the way down to the local level, what say), to be in charge of nationalized health care, among others. Too funny!
